Capítulo 71: Totally Different

"Yo, yo, Bram! You really came alone?!" Laughter boomed after the ridicule was directed at the name owner sitting at the left end of the long table. Bram's expression was curt but not because of the ridicule twenty minutes ago.

Bram stopped tapping the table and stared at the side of his empty chair. The place was supposed to be filled by Castelia, but he had no idea where she was. As Bram had expected, everyone would bring a partner and he was the only one who didn't.

Bram made a phone call, but Castelia didn't pick up until the last ring. "Where's Castelia?" mumbled Bram, unsure that she had been on the call for nearly twenty minutes.

"Bram, you said your mate would be here soon but where is she?" asked a man, who managed to grab Bram's attention and make everyone at the same table stare at him.
