Capítulo 39: For Whom Does She Weep?

Alla had never imagined that she would be assaulted by a stranger, a man whose face she didn't even know. Her despair was immeasurable.

She repeated his name in her mind over and over, and suddenly tears started to flow freely down her cheeks.

The man sensed her crying and paused. He grabbed her chin, his voice cold as he demanded, "Who are you crying for?!"

Alla kept her lips sealed, her tears falling incessantly, quickly soaking the tie that covered her eyes.

Her silence infuriated the man, and a torrent of kisses descended upon her, even more frantic than Casiano's had been.

Fearful that Billie would suddenly return, and utterly helpless, Alla's mind shattered. It was only then that she realized that Billie had deliberately spared her before. If he had truly wanted to force himself on her, she would have ended up in the same state much earlier.
