Watching him relax, Gwen let go of his hold and stood up.

"Now, don't waste your time. Your boss won't be coming, so let's start our work," she said, cheering his mood and seeing the fatigue on his disappear entirely.

Karl nodded, smiled, and watched her leave the cabin with a happy face.

It was going to be a hectic day. Getting up, he encouraged himself, forgetting about the worry, and started with the work.

"They both deserve this," Alice snorted, feeling no pity for Gorge and Jane.

Alice met Ashley as Tristan had asked everyone to visit her only when she woke up, and they agreed. Learning that she was fine and doing better made Alice calm.

"I had doubts that it wasn't just Jane behind this... but someone was helping her."
