Capítulo 1: I knew you believed in me~
"Erebus.
The primordial being of darkness.
The second son of Chaos, and the husband of Lady Nyx.
However, little is known about this ancient being.
Many speculate that his importance in the grand scheme of things is but a minority in comparison to the other gods.
But, a being that governs half the universe, surely there must be a reason why no one knows about him."
Slam*
A middle-aged man with a balding head slammed his hand on a desk with a crazed expression.
"I believe otherwise.
I believe Erebus is not the son of Chaos nor the husband of Nyx. He is the being that laid the foundations of creation."
The students stared at the crazed man painfully waiting for the class to end.
The professor pointed his crooked finger at a student sitting in the back corner.
"You! Luke, for someone so astute in learning, you surely believe so right?"
The young man has a handsome face, most would be envious of. He has black short hair and a chiseled muscular body. He was famous around the campus for being the number 1 valedictorian and the winner of the sports festival. He's a man every woman would gladly throw away their life for. And at this moment, his very career can crumble into oblivion.
"Huh?"
Half asleep, Luke looked up to see eyes staring at him. Everyone was silently begging him to not answer. Still dazed he didn't realize what they were trying to say.
"Uh yeah, sure."
"Yes! Thank you! Now, everyone, I'll be handing out some assignments, it's a tad long, but I'm sure 35 pages of writing isn't so bad oh, and some solo research too."
He looked down at his hands with a saddened look on his face and said.
"At first, I thought no one was interested in this topic and everyone thought I was crazy, but if the valedictorian of our campus would love to do it then I'd be more than happy to hand it out to everyone!."
As soon as his words ended the room turned cold. Everyone turned their heads toward a certain individual, eyes gleaming with killing intent.
Admiration, gone... just like that.
Luke instantly woke up and cold sweat started pouring down his back.
"..."
"Oh! I left the papers in the office. I'll be right back, oh and thank you again, Luke, I knew someone believed in me."
The professor left the classroom with glee, and as soon as the door was shut, every student stood up simultaneously.
"Luke..."
A pretty girl with blonde wavy hair dressed in a white wool sweater and black jeans stood next to him and grabbed his right shoulder.
"..."
"Laura, I can explain."
Everyone started walking toward him, each step sending chills down his spine.
"It was an accident..."
Step*
"I was asleep..."
Step*
"..."
Luke closed his eyes tight awaiting divine punishment.
As every student was about to send down armageddon a magic circle illuminated everyone's feet.
Sensing the bright light Luke slowly opened his eyes.
Realizing that everyone stopped approaching him a look of relief showed on his face.
"Look, I was busy all night and I barely had time to sleep so, hm? What th-?"
FLASH*
The students vanished into thin air.
Echoing footsteps disturbed the empty classroom.
Step*
Step*
Step*
And a bald man walked with joyous steps.
A mischievous smile was on his wrinkly face as his eyes began to glow a dim purple.
"Heh heh*. Hopefully, they got there alright."
He strolled to his desk and opened a drawer with a thin black cylindrical stick inside.
"Now then, let's go home. Oh but first..."
The bald man's eyes began to glow to a vivid violet and a beautiful woman with pitch-black hair wearing a seductive black dress was standing in his place.
"Haah* much better. Fu~Fu~, I knew you believed in me, Luke. I'll see you there~"
