Capítulo 29: To another world.

It's as if they are in another world. 

Just as they cross the river the world that awaits them is solely different. The floor of the earth is draped with thick glistening snow, and the trees and shrubs are blanketed in the moist of pure white. 

Micah remembers the heat of the sun that prickles inside her thin layer of clothing when they were standing by the riverside. But now she is shivering beneath the thickness of the cloak that is wrapped around her. 

What kind of parallel universe is this? A mere river parting two different worlds? Micah still finds this all hard to believe. 

Her wide eyes drink in every inch of this place as they walk through the snow path, she can smell the thick awkward tension between the two men but she tries to ignore it and immerse in the beauty of this new world.
