Capítulo 44: Let's party

"Hey man... I have just received a response from our agents in Ugley. Their sales have now struck 1 million gold coins. I think that should be something that we should celebrate right? I have also decided to sent more goods to Ugley kingdom and I am expecting a good outcome just like what the first caravan did." Alexandre said with a smile before he took a wine cup before him and shook it but there was no wine in it, thus, he turned to Tanya who was holding the gourd,

"I need that stuff to activate myself. You know... I had a long meeting the whole night with the merchants and I feel like I have missed something. It has to be the wine in there... Right?" Alexandre asked Tanya.

"You are right... I am impressed with our agents who are in Ugley. I think we should celebrate that milestone." Virtya who was now all smiles said. He stood up and snatched the gourd from Tanya. Tanya tried to get it back but Virtya raised the gourd high which made Tanya to struggle to reach to it but when Tanya jumped so that she could reach it, Virtya threw the gourd at Alexandre.

The wine in the gourd splashed all over Catalina and Alexandre because they were the ones who were still seated and the gourd was not sealed.

"I got the damned thing. Hahaha." Even if wine had splashed on him, Alexandre laughed before he stood up with the gourd and gulped down some of it before he stumbled and then he cleared his throat while batting his eyelids.

"This is an excellent stuff. I don't know where you got this stuff. That brew maker should be promoted." He then took another gulp and grimaced.

"Don't finish all of it! Give it to me " Virtya begged which made Tanya to frown.

"Here you go man." Alexander stretched his hand that was holding the gourd so that he could give the gourd to Virtya but he misstepped once again and struck the gourd heavily onto the table thus breaking the thing into splinters. All the wine splashed outwards and most of it splashed onto Catalina who was watching them.

"Fuck you Alexandre! You have shattered that thing... Well, tell that yony to get another one for us. We must celebrate today. Tanya... Don't stand on ceremony, we are here to party. Another thing, tell the yony to come here with two more cups. I still have my cup here, the other two will be for Alexandre and my beautiful... No... The remaining cup will be for Tanya. As for Catalina... You are still small... You will not be partying with us. We are your parents while you are our child... We have to take care of you... Is it right Alexandre?" Virtya took a glance at Catalina and when he saw that she had been splashed with wine, he frowned.

"What happened?" Virtya came over to Catalina. The room turned silent as all eyes turned to her.

"The wine splashed all over my face... My dress is drenched in wine..."

Virtya interjected her... "Say no more... I will get a new dress for you." Virtya took out his handkerchief and wiped the wine remnants from her face and said,

"No more partying! It is still very early in the morning and we can't celebrate right now. This celebration is postponed." Virtya then directed for a maid to take Catalina away and get a new dress for her.

He then walked back to his seat and stared at Tanya.

"That was indeed unbecoming of me. Please forgive me Tanya." Virtya gripped her hand and forced her to sit,

"Time for business and as for my beautiful commander Tanya... I am impressed with your tenacity... It's difficult to refuse the allure of such a good wine you know... I am jealous of you... Why can't I be like you? Anyway... Alexandre, what do you think we should do next? I really need 20 million gold coins."

Virtya was now serious no one would have thought that he was the same person who had been like a weak infant, he was boisterous.

"Have you forgotten?" Alexandre questioned. Virtya gave him a questioning look which prompted Alexandre to continue.
