After supper, Virtya relaxed for a few hours before he decided to go back to work.
At this moment, Alexandre had became too tired and he had at last surrendered to his drowsiness and he was now sleeping on his seat . It was not that where Alexandre sat was a sit that could transform to a bed, no. It was just that Alexandre was still in a sitting position but he had closed his eyes with his mouth opened and a few snorts could heard from him now and then.
On the other hand, Galina had arranged several seats which were previously used by the knights and through this, she had managed to make a makeshift bed for herself where she placed a mat on top of it and slept.
One should know that Virtya didn't come with any beddings at this place as this was not a place where he was supposed to sleep. It was just that Virtya still wanted to work and that was why he was still in this warehouse.
Virtya only came with his kitchen staff and kitchen ware to this warehouse because he couldn't get back to Whiten to eat as it would take much time when he was needed to supervise the ongoing project and ensure that every thing went smoothly and according to plan.
"The knights are so vigilant. Have they gotten any information about an assassin lurking by? I don't think so... I have been keeping a low profile since I started my journey from the kingdom of Magyo. Maybe this is just how they are trained but so what? They can't be as impenetrable like those knights from the kingdom of Magyo, right? I just have to wait." The assassin who had been watching Virtya for a very long time didn't go to sleep with his fellow workers, he remained at the site and currently, he was lying on top of the marshy ground and it was only his face that could be seen.
However, even his face was veiled by the marshy outgrowths around him and no one could detect him even if they pointed the torches at where he was.
Clearly, the assassin was not too far from the wooden warehouse and he could see every motion that the knights around the warehouse were doing. This assassin could have chosen to kill one knight after the other so that he could reach at Virtya at last but that was not how he was trained. He was trained to only focus on the target while ignoring the people around the target but in this case, he would have to look for a way in which he could bypass the barrier which was the knights around the warehouse so that he could infiltrate into the warehouse and finish his job.
"I hope that girl is not around." The assassin was optimistic.
Anyway. Virtya checked the components once again and he first saw the I beams that he had yet to use.
Actually, Virtya could have chosed to use the I beam for the support and holder of the axle but producing the I beam was too expensive because it consumed a lot of iron ingots and it was also complicated to fabricate because of its weight.
One should know that an I beam had a wider body as compared to the body of the H beam and the I beam was the heaviest between the two.
However, Virtya only managed to fabricate a few I beams that he believed would be enough to offer the support for connecting the many gears and sprockets that will ensure that what needed to be rolling did so.
Currently, there was no worker around, thus, Virtya was forced to use his knights to help him.
"Let's take this out." Virtya ordered and while being helped with ten knights, they carried a 3m long round steel from the room where other round steels were piled up.
With his face scrunched up, Virtya and other knights placed the round steel at the wide corridor within the warehouse.
The warehouse had a 10 metres by 6 meters corridor where by, there were storage rooms at both sides of this long corridor while there was an empty space at the far end of the corridor. This empty space was the one which Virtya and his crew were using as their dinning place while there was a kitchen just beside it.
After taking out the 3 meter long round steel, Virtya asked the knight to take out another round steel. He didn't help them this time round because he was not as energetic as them and just carring the first heavy round steel had almost drained all of his energy. Each of the pieces of round steel that the knights were taking out had holes for the nuts and bolts.
