---

Despite his suspicions, nothing happened. The doctor diagnosed the girl without doing anything weird and pushed her back to the waiting room before leaving the room, continuing his work.

'... Enough of this. I'm getting embarrassed.'

Rulio shook his head, finding it funny that everything he did was for naught.

Although… It was better this way.

Yeah, no one was hurt and everyone was okay, this was the ideal world.

So he pulled his Marble back, ready to turn back and call Lin when…

/Creak…/

"Hm?"

Another door opened inside the resting room.

'Who are those people?'

There were two doors leading to the room where everyone rested.

A large double door through which the Doctor and Nurse were constantly moving, and a small door on the side without any label.

It was very inconsequential so Rulio hadn't paid it any heed, but now… A group of people had suddenly arrived?

The previous group of boys left somewhere after the doctor diagnosed the girl, he saw them holding a few boys and entering the elevator with a few guards, likely friends of the drunk kids he had seen before.

So it was immensely suspicious that a group of boys had entered the room exactly when no one was inside…

'They don't look that old… Fairly young even.'

They weren't hiding their faces; most seemed to be around 17/18 years old or even in their early 20s…

Rulio watched silently as they entered the room and… Grabbed the drunk girl.

At that moment, red lights flared inside his mind as his expression tensed.

'Please… Don't tell me it's like that…'

His expression began to darken as he quickly had his marble fly through the gap as the door closed.

/Lock!/

The door behind him closed and locked automatically as he passed, but he had no time to think about it. He had to be fast as the boys moved quickly through the dark corridor towards another room.

/Fly!/

He carefully flew the marble, going through another corridor before finally… Entering the room at the end.

And what he saw…

"Heh, this girl is quite cute…"

"Another one so quickly? We barely finished with this one."

"And what about it? It's barely even 11, and the party just started. There are no cameras around, so who cares?"

"Fine, let's take this slow at least, otherwise, it'll be…"

Rulio didn't hear the rest of it as he immediately exploded with anger.

But before he did anything rash, his mind calmed down and he controlled the marble around the room… He… He could not stomach what they were doing in the room, but what was done was done.

He had to gather evidence… And fast, before they made another victim.

It was cruel, but if he wished to shut this down, he needed solid, metal hard proof… Because those boys in the rooms were the golden children who arranged this party.

Their leader… Was the son of the City's mayor…

If he moved badly, not only would he not accomplish anything… Things may even take a turn for the worse.

So, for the first time in his life, Rulio's eyes sharpened as he moved with commitment and conviction… To kill another Human being.

/Fwoosh!.../

The marble moved around, and soon he entered a room on the side. There was no door there so it was easy for him to get inside.

There, he saw an old style PC lying around.

Reflected on its monitor was…

'... Disgusting.'

'They're using an old Pc huh… To hide their tracks from the more modern Systems… Bastards.'

'There's a door leading here, it's locked, but if my spacial awareness is correct. It should lead outside.'

'If I can get a copy of everything in that Pc… No, I'll steal that shit directly!'

Rulio moved from his spot, and his form began to wabble.

Right, moving too fast decreases the efficiency of his cloak. But he didn't care.

Within a few seconds, he arrived at the door and by using the marble to press a button, he unlocked the door from the inside.

'I'm here… Now, to unplug it…'

But just as he was about to do it, he remembered a small detail from such computer he read about in the past.

'Right, if I unplug it while the program is open, all of its files will get corrupted, this old ass shit…'

All evidence could be deleted if he as much as plugged the cable…

'FUCKERS!'

So he did something else…

He opened the desk under the pc and found half a dozen small drives within.

There were labels on each drive, years…

'Don't tell me… This party is done every year as far as I'm aware…'

'The mayor's son is currently 20, he's been doing this party ever since he was 15…'

'One… Two… Three… Four… Five… Six…'

'Then, this one…'

He pocketed them all before taking one and inserting it on the PC.

As he expected, it was empty, there was also no label on it…

'This…'

But Rulio focused once more.

/Copy…/

It was hard, but with great difficulty, he copied all archives into the small drive, it took a good minute for it to happen as well.

/Sounds…/

All the while, he heard the sickening noises coming from the room nearby.

'Focus… Focus… I need to get this first…'

'I can kill them after.'

/Completed/

As the long bar finished passing everything to disc with a decisive expression, he pulled the plug, killing the computer.

/Crunch…/

He closed his right fist as he peeped through the corner of the door, and almost then, he gave in to anger.

But he knew that the monsters inside that room… Were stronger than him.

Geniuses of their time had multiple years to hone their abilities, and now, they were all Advanced Grade Card Users.

And Users with S-Rank Talents, if not that, then A-Rank.

With a crushing expression. He went outside of the room and opened his cell phone.

He attached the video he had just taken to a call and forwarded it to the police anonymously.

But he knew that wouldn't be enough, so a few moments after he was done, he sent a similar message under an anonymous name to several magnates and High-Ranking Card Users he knew, primarily the fathers of the girls in his school.

Why them? Well… If you were a father and you heard the party your daughter was in was possibly… Compromised… Even if the information came from a dubious channel…

How could you not check it out?

There was only one thing left to do…

Rulio opened his Decks and pulled out a specific Card:

It shone with faint blue light, having a rough texture and a few humble carvings here and there…

{Moon Cloud Burst +20 /Advanced/

 Type: Sorcery/Invocation

 Activation Cost: 30

Effect: Conjure a large cloud before you that'll hover over the ground. The cloud will incapacitate all individuals within its range, putting them into a heavy sleep that'll last even as the cloud dissipates.

The more of the cloud you inhale, the longer the sleep duration becomes.

The cloud is tasteless, but it can be seen with the naked eye.

The cloud has increased radius and strength at night but has a smaller density and speed during the day.

 Duration: 30 seconds

Augmentation 1 -> Faint Raindrops will form within the clouds. Drops can be absorbed through the skin and are equivalent to fully breathing the cloud once.

}

/Crush!/

/Activate!/

/Shhhhhhh…/

A faint purple cloud began to spread from his left hand around the room.

Because of the dim light, none of the boys inside seemed to notice as it spread.

They seemed to discuss something about getting tired, but it was too late when they realized something was severely wrong.

/THUD!/

One of them collapsed on the ground as they held one of the girls, and another one soon followed as they tried to reach for something on a table nearby.

/LIGHTS OUT!/

The lights in the room immediately went out, causing even further confusion before they all… Dropped down, unconscious.

"..."

/Light…/

Rulio turned on the lights carefully after the cloud's effect went out, and with a tired expression, he moved inside.

'Dammit… My head hurts.'

'Using an Advanced Card stings. Even with my vast energy repertoire, it took its toll on me.'

The Advanced card may have an energy cost of 30, but due to the difference in Grades, it would be closer to 3000 for him.

To put things into perspective, an ordinary Beginner Card User would have an energy gauge of around 100; it was the threshold most believed to be decent for an established card User.

As one increased their Grade, their Ether quality would increase and their Gauge would condense, so it was normal for someone to climb all the way up to 200, then condense it back to 20 before making their way up again.

Of course, the numbers weren't precisely round, genetics and techniques heavily altered how things worked.

The value on the cards was also relative to their user, except for the rare Cards that had a set value regardless of person.

Rulio had over 3000 Energy Points from dozens of rare items and training over the years, but losing almost all of energy through his arm was like a large man suddenly tugging at it.

Everything hurt, from his muscles to his veins, and he could tell his body was struggling… But it would be okay. It would go away with a nice rest.

'It's almost impossible for me to hide my presence here today… So I need to go back home and prepare for the worst with my parents.'

'This will be a rough night.'

Rulio crouched near the drugged girl and gently put her in his lap.

As for the other one… He pulled off one of those guy's jackets before putting it over her. It was the least he could do.

Of course, he was still controlling the marble all this time, recording everything.

He was sorry for all victims, but he wouldn't throw away his future for the terrific bureaucracy of this shitty world.

With a heavy expression, he moved to a nearby table and retrieved all of the boys' documents, cell phones, and cards.

It was his loot, after all.

Whatever was inside could and would be used against them. He couldn't let them flee from whatever crimes they had committed besides this one.

And with a heavy expression, he left through the back door, returning to the party.

But before he entered, he left the poor girl at the door.

Given the cameras around, it was apparent people would find out about his involvement, but by the time they did, it was impossible for them not to notice which side of this mess he was on.

/Creak…/

He returned to the party, his face heavy.

"... Lin."

After a little search, Rulio found Lin sitting around with a few girls on a table.

"Rullio! You're here! I heard you were looking for me. Can't we stay a little longer? Please?" Lin asked with a pity face as she pulled him to the table

But Rulio… Did not move, his expression was heavy and cold.

He was usually cynical, but Lin saw it differently. Rulio displayed an array of emotions, with the occasional smile and scoff.

He always displayed a warm aura and tried to be gently and considerate to those around him despite his lineage and backing.

It was this disposition amidst many other aspects that made her…

"No, we're leaving, now." Rulio proclaimed as he put his hand over his, trying to pull her closer gently

"What? Why so sudden?"

"Look, it's complicated, but you must listen to me this time."

He then turned to the other girls.

"You should all also leave; call your parents; things will get rough really fast."

With this, he turned around and left the table.

"Wh-What is going on?" One of the girls asked as her expression got gloomy

"Well…"

"Rulio! W-Wait! What is going on?!"

"Tell everybody to leave this place immediately, I won't repeat it. It's serious this time, really, really bad." Rulio proclaimed as he blitzed through the party hall and into the entrance corridor

"Rulio? Hey my man, how about…"

"Not now Guan, in fact, come with me, we're leaving." He said as he walked past Guan

"Wh… What's going on?"

He then saw Lin and her expression of confusion and stress, and Guan immediately realized something was really bad.

After all, even when Rulio confronted bullies from another school, he didn't make that expression.

At that time, the bullies had almost killed a boy, and that day, Guan was with him… He saw Rulio's expression first hand as he beat every one of them in hand-to-hand combat.

It was nothing serious, it was solved quickly and swiftly, each kid went home with a broken nose at most.

Rulio's expression was one of disappointment and helplessness; at least, it looked like that… Now…

He was enraged, even he could tell that.

/Open!/

Rulio almost kicked the SkyGarden's door as he burst through it, taking a left and going to the side room to grab his T.A.C and spare cellphone.

Right, Rulio entered the party with a cell phone, but he also gave one to the guards…

In truth, he came with two phones, one in his pocket and the other hidden within his CardBox.

The box couldn't store materials inside like some sort of compressed dimension, but it was large enough to hold a few small objects.

It could store hundreds of cards in the space of a single deck, but Cards were magical constructs in a sense, a cellphone was… A phone.

/Open! Grab!/

"Rulio! Stop for a moment! Tell me what's going on! Else I'm not…"

"... Not here, not now." He said gently after he took a deep breath to calm his anger

"I'll tell you everything, but first, please… Follow me outside."

"But…"

"..."

Rulio did not reply as he left, leaving Guan and Lin behind.

Some of their friends were also quickly leaving the party confused, but they all listened to his words, at least… Most of them did.

"Hm?..."

When Lin turned on her phone, she saw a dozen messages and missed calls coming from her parents, and she got confused as she called them back.

Meanwhile, Guan passed by her, going after Rullio, who was now waiting for the elevator.

"Hey man… What is going on?"

"... Some serious, serious shit, man." Rulios said heavily, almost spitting the words out

"I don't wanna talk about it… Not here, not now."

/Din…/

"Where's Lin? The elevator…"

"I'm here. Sorry for the wait. I gave my parents a call."

"..."

Rulio kept quiet as he got on the elevator.

He crossed his arms and remained still.

""...""

Before the elevator's doors closed, a few more of their friends got inside, they were all confused and kept asking Rulio's questions, but he replied to none of them.

/Din/

Once the elevator stopped, Rulio stepped out, saying:

"Then, see you all later."

""...""

No good night or politeness, just some cold words…

/Step step…/

/Crunk…/

"Young Master…"

"Drive us home Dav, fast." Rulio said as he got inside the car, with Lin right behind him

"Right away." Dav replied without complaint, fully noticing his protegee's distress

"... Hey, Guan, get inside. I'll drive you home, too."

Guan was obviously looking around in distress. Being an ordinary child, he needed to book a cab if he wished to return home, but at this time, there likely were none around.

As for the others, they were all rich, so he didn't worry much about them.

There were a few others in the party, but they wouldn't be having much trouble. As things would get hectic soon enough.

"T-Thanks, man, you're my savior… So uh… E-Excuse me…" He said towards Dav as he sat on the front seat

This was Guan's first time in such an expensive car.

It wasn't a limo, but it was still a stylish black car with quite the interior…

"So? Will you tell me what is going on now, or will you keep quiet?"

"Also, what's that bag you're carrying?" Lin asked with an upset gaze as she looked at Rulio

"..."

Rulio looked at Lin, thinking if it was worthy making her upset or sharing what he had seen with her.

But as he saw her look at him upset, with youthful eyes full of color, he chose to take the bullet instead.

"It's better if… You hear things from your parents instead of me."

"What?! After everything…"

/Crack…/

Rulio cracked another card, and immediately after, Lin fell asleep.

/SIREN!/

As he did that, the sound of sirens began traveling across the street, and soon enough, dozens of police cars emerged from multiple corners of the street.

At that moment, he turned on his cell phone, and he was immediately bombarded with calls, mostly from his and Lin's parents.

So he first called Lin's parents…

"... Rulio? By all, are you okay?" An older male voice sounded from the other side of the call

"I'm okay Mr.Xang, Lin is with me. She's sleeping by my side. We're coming back home, so meet us there if possible."

"Haa… Thank you, my boy, you can't believe how relieved we are right now… As for what happened… You can leave it to us."

"That call… It was you, wasn't it?"

"... Yes…"

"I knew it. You're that kind of kid, after all…"

"Do you have evidence?"

"... Far too many. I'm even afraid that…"

"The Mayor can't do anything, I've already contacted other families and pulled some connections, don't forget kid, he may be the Mayor's son, but we are the foundation of this city's political structure."

"And a boy messing around these people's daughters… They'll devour him like hyenas."

"... We're on our way to your home, take care…"

"Wait."

"Is there something you wish? Just say it, I'll make it possible."

"Yes… I don't know how things will go now that the police is involved… Not all of my friends have some backing you see…"

"Don't worry child, I already sent some of my men to the scene, they'll make sure all of those children are delivered back to their respective homes unharmed."

"... Thank you Mr.Xang, I owe you one."

Mr.Xang was a higher-ranking military member who had connections to the police force and the like. Many children of the Academy were usually composed of individuals like that, as strong Card Users were usually all rich and in high positions of the hierarchy.

He was the most qualified person he knew to ask for help.

"No kid, I owe you one. Thank you for always looking out for Lin. She's a bit of a troublemaker, but she doesn't deserve any of this."

"And if you need someone to talk to, know that we're here to listen."

"Thank you. I'll turn off the call now as we pass through the Old Arm tunnel."

"Alright, until later, Rulio."

"Until."

/Bzz…/

/Silence…/

"..."

Neither Rulio nor Guan said anything after he was done.

It was pure silence for the rest of the trip.

/Stop…/

"We've arrived, young master."

"Alright."

Rulio took a deep breath as he opened the door, it was time to face his parents and the consequences of this event.

He went to the other side of the car, going to the window on the first seat.

"Sorry Guan, I would've invited you over but…"

"It's okay man, I can tell when something's wrong, keeping to myself is what I do best."

"Thank you."

"Dav, please, drive Guan home safely."

"Understood young master, I'll be back in no time."

"See you later Guan… Good night."

"Heh, good night Rulio, we'll talk later once this is all over, after all, we have much to make up for."

"Right."

Their future as Card Users was just beginning, and they had much to do.

But for tonight… Rulio only want to sleep.

/Open…/

He opened the passenger door and pulled Lin out of the car, picking her in a princess carry before taking the bag with the evidence he gathered.

And with that, Dav drove off with Guan, leaving Rulio all alone in the driveway to his Manor.

"..."

'Looking at the cars parked here… We have quite a few guests.'

With a heavy expression, he made his way inside.

/Creak…/

/Chatter chatter!/

/Stop…/

As he entered the living room, he was met with a few pairs of stares…

"Oh my God! Rulio!"

The first one to block his view was his mother with a teary gaze, she jumped in his direction before stopping when she noticed who he was carrying.

"Lin! My girl…"

His father followed her along with Mr.Xang and his wife.

Behind them, a few individuals remained in their spots, waiting for the family to greet each other instead of interfering.

"Mr.Xang, I'm sorry, I put Lin to sleep… She… Asked me too many questions, and I… Didn't want to answer them… Not to her."

"Shhh… It's okay boy, it's okay…" Mr. Xuang said as he held Rulio's head, putting it against his chest

Mr. Xuang was a very tall man, being over two meters tall. He was muscular, and he had a strict expression.

But today, he held back his tears as his expression darkened.

On his side, Miss. Xuang was about to ball it out as she tried to hold her tears.

"Old Xuang… Let's put Lin on Rulio's bed for now… We have to talk." Rulio's father said deeply as he tapped Xuang's shoulder

"Right. Do you mind doing this for us boy? We'll be waiting for you down here."

"..."

/Nod/

Rulio quickly went upstairs, putting Lin on his bed before turning around and closing the door.

Lin was a childhood friend of his he met by chance when he was 7.

At that time, his father was going to a fancy party with his mother and they brought him together, it was then he met Lin for the first time.

He played with her for the remainder of the party, but it felt more like babysit her, and after they left, Lin kind of grew attached to him and they began to meet more and more.

They went through school together, eventually transferring together to the Academy when they became 12.

Rulio cared deeply for her, she was like the sister he never had…

And that was why he couldn't stand telling her the truth.

/Clack…/

/Back on the first floor…/

"Son… You're here. Are you alright? Hurt anywhere?"

"No, I'm fine… Just a little shocked." Rulio replied as he took off his hairpin

"That's a strong man right there." Someone on the side said as they took a step forward

He was tall, and he had broad shoulders like Lin's father. He wore a military outfit with a high-ranking badge on it, but he didn't recognize him.

"Hello…"

"Ah, I apologize, I've skipped the introductions."

"Rulio, this is Mr. Don, he's… He's the father of the girl you saved."

"!!!"

"Wi… Witch one…?" He asked deeply as his expression went dark

"... The one that… Narrowly scaped thanks to you…" His father said as his expression soured

"I…"

/HUG!!!/

Before Rulio could say anything, the man hugged Rulio with enough force to bend steel!!

"Arg!"

"Thank you boy, from the bottom of my heart I thank you. There aren't enough words to describe what I feel… Trully…"

"B-brea…"

"Ahem, Mr. Don, give the kid some space so he can breathe." Mr. Xang said with a chuckle as he shook his head

"Ha! He'll be okay, he's a strong boy aren't you?"

/TAP!/

Mr. Don slapped Rulio's shoulder with such strength he almost fell on the ground.

"..."

But Rulio wasn't smiling, which caused the adults to tension again.

"Kid…"

"I believe this is where I introduce myself." Someone said as they took a step forward

It was a man in a dark tuxedo. He had a large scar on his face and he looked extremely intimidating.

"My name is Leopold Ratalmu, Law Enforcement, Deputy Detective, I've been put in charge of this case and I'm here to learn everything so I may not only assist those affected by this incident, but you as well."

"Child, what you've done today took great courage and spirit, but for everyone's sake, we need to know everything that happened, from start to finish, is that much okay?"

"... It's fine. I said I'm a little shocked, not traumatized." Rulio said after he took a deep breath

He looked to the side, seeing a familiar face.

"It's been a while, young Lord." The woman replied as she nodded at him

"Kim? It hasn't been that long…"

Kim was his father's private lawyer, who had been brought here to oversee this case and protect him. He last saw her during an issue a few months ago.

He didn't know the details, but they were related to his father's workplace.

"Speak when you feel most comfortable, don't worry about anything else, you're safe here." Mr Don said as he patted his shoulder

/Nod/

Mr Xang and his father nodded as well. Everyone here supported him, which made Rulio feel a little better.

So he sat down on a nearby couch, scratching his head.

"Where do I start…? I think… It all began when I chose to leave the party, somewhere around… 11?"

"Do you have a more precise time?" Detective Leopold asked as he pulled a notepad from his waist

"No… But I can give you a good estimation based on my recordings and the time of my call…"

"Alright."

Rulio began his narration, eventually stopping it to connect his phone to the large living room TV where he shared the recording with everyone.

"Okay, here. At 11:15, I began recording with my phone, and from the time I began following them, it had been no less than five minutes since then."

"Good, but what made you go after them?"

"What?..."

"I'm not trying to say anything. It's a simple question that you don't need to answer." Leopold asked as he looked at Rulio

"You don't need to answer." Kim said as she nodded at him

"Well… It's nothing impressive, it's embarrassing even…"

"I just… Thought it was strange that we weren't told much about the party's inner workings, that the girl wasn't being brought to the lounge, so… I thought something strange was going on…"

"Your inkling was on point… I see, carry on."

"... As you can see here, I used my Peeping Eye to follow the doctor and eventually noticed a suspicious group opening a door to the room."

"I thought little of it at the time, and I was about to turn away and leave…"

As he said that, Mr Don's expression tensed.

"But when I saw them grab her… I knew something was immensely wrong. There were red flags all around, as seen in the video."

"I controlled the marble to go after them and… Once they open that door…"

"It's okay, you can skip it if you wish."

"... Yeah."

Rulio skipped that part of the video and moved to another scene.

"... I had the marble open a door for me so I could get inside."

"Where are we now, exactly?"

"Inside the room they… There is another smaller room with an emergency door leading outside. It's locked from the inside but I unlocked it with the marble."

"That old style pc you're seeing is where I got these hard drives from… As seen in the video."

Rulio let the video roll, and aside from him entering the room and reaching the pc, there was little happening on the video…

Aside from the noises in the background, but no one said anything.

/Crack!/

Don was the only one who cracked his fists with such force it shook the table before them a little.

"... After I was done, I collected all of the evidence and attached an image I took from the video and forwarded it to the police… I'm sorry for exposing her, but I tried to hide her face, at least…"

"No, you did right… Had you not done so the police may have taken longer to act… As terrible as that sound."

"But I have a question, I heard you forwarded it to others?"

"That's wrong, I never sent any compromising images to anyone but the police! I only sent messages to warn the parents of the people I knew, nothing else!" Rulio proclaimed loudly, causing the detective to open his eye a little

He didn't notice it but Kim looked at the detective with heavy eyes, as if threatening him a little… She obviously noticed he tried to coerce Rulio to confess to something given the nature of his actions were founded solely on his feelings. It was apparent he did nothing wrong, but still...

"Right… What did you do next?"

"Just watch."

The video continued with another angle on Rulio as he got to the side, manifesting his card before activating it.

A few seconds later, he turned the lights off by cutting the energy through a fuse box.

A little commotion later, it was over, and he paused the video again.

"After this I entered the room, found her, put her jacket back on because they took it off…"

/BAM!/

Don smashed his fist on the table before getting up and turning around.

"Sorry… Please, continue."

"... I put her jacket back on and had her lay on the side."

"I then went to the girl on the ground… Separated her assailants from her, put some clothes to cover her, and went to a table nearby to rummage through their clothes. It's all on the recording."

"Why did you do that? Rummage their clothes, I mean?"

"For these." Rulio said as he showed them his back of evidence

"Okay… But why did you grab their cards too?"

"A-Ahem… Because they could've definitely used them for illicit means."

"... Did you grab any of the Cards?"

"Mr. Detective…"

"No need Kim, I did not touch them." Rulio said deeply and resolutely

'I'm not that dumb.'

"... You did well. I know what you're thinking, but if the cards are confirmed to have been used… It would be best to not have anything to do with them."

"Alright, what did you do after that?"

"Nothing much, I went to the girl and moved her through the backdoor."

"Why the backdoor?"

"Because I couldn't trust the doctor and nurse, I know they were likely being played, but there's a chance they were in on it for at least ignoring the disappearance of one of their patients. I couldn't risk be seen."

"Then why did you leave her on the entrance to the party hall and not inside?"

"Why?... Because that would mean destroying her social life."

""!""

"The girl was almost… If I dragged her there, everyone would know, including herself."

"It's best no one knows, at least this way, it becomes a mystery who was the missing girl…"

"... Alright, thank you for answering… Please continue."

"From there, it wasn't anything special. I went back to the party with the evidence on my pants and shirt, found a bag in the corner, stashed everything inside, then left after dragging my friend with me."

"I imagine that was the girl with you?"

"Correct, she knows nothing and is unrelated. Please…"

"I won't ask her any questions, I'm not that evil." The detective said with a scoff as he checked his notes

"Anything else you would like to add?"

"... No. My involvement ends here." Rulio said as he got up from his seat

"Dad, I'm going to your room… I need to crash down…"

"... Alright son, good night."

/Step step…/

"... You've raised your son right, Mr Chilmo. My family and I thank you all for that." Don said as he approached Rulio's father

It was hard, but he was barely holding his tears.

"No… Rulio has always been this kind of boy."

"... Officer… Will my son… Is Rulio in any trouble?" His mother asked as she turned to the Detective, noticing his expression

"... No, not at all. His testimony is… Unshakable, and the evidence he gathered is… Mountainous."

"This case has essentially solved itself… Although there will be a lot of processing and… Legal battles once we review all the evidence."

"For now, though, it's safe to say your son is free from any suspicion."

"I would recommend, however, seeing a psychiatrist. The kid seemed deeply impacted bu this and he may need someone to talk it through with, and my apologies for how this may sound but… Someone who isn't too close to him."

"No… We understand."

"So, if you excuse me… Mr. Lawyer, I need to make a copy of the evidence, may I…"
