Capítulo 111: With Patience

When Eve opened her eyes, it was already morning. Sunlight kissed her face as she laid still on the bed without moving. Her body ached, and she yearned for more sleep, but she resisted. Sitting up, she saw Amelia walking back and forth, carrying her baby and trying to pacify the softly crying newborn.

"Amelia," Eve called with a weak voice, and the vampiress turned to look at her.

"I didn't want to wake you up," Amelia said, a broad smile gracing her lips as she approached Eve.

"A girl?" Eve smiled, looking down at her little baby. The infant was adorable, with a red face and chubby cheeks, brown eyes, and ink-black hair. The crying ceased once the baby was in her mother's arms.

"And a boy," Amelia added, going to retrieve the second baby from his cot.
