Asher saw the girl he has always known…The Pepper beneath the terror and anger, the carefree girl that was a hell of fun and had a thing for torture, the love of his life and the mother of his daughter. She still has a light about her and yes, she had a little bit of drama about her now but it didn't make her any less of her.

 Asher smiled and moved closer to his daughter and pushed the hair away from her tearful face and wiped her face with his hand.

"Are you going to keep crying?" He asked her and smiled warmly.

It was like he had superpowers and suddenly Starr wasn't mad anymore.

She shook her head and cried some more.

She looked…broken.

Did someone break her?

Asher would hate it if someone tried to or worse, succeeded and he would hate it even more if he helped.

"Come on, I can't keep wiping your face?"
