Pepper saw Asher chatting with the perky waitress and she looked away immediately but for some reason her eyes kept going towards them.

She also noticed that Asher was taking his sweet time returning to the table.

Pepper was prepared to wait it out but then the waitress touched his arm and something Pepper has not felt in a long time flamed up in her.

What the hell? Was the waitress flirting with her husband right before her eyes?

Pepper dabbed her mouth with the napkin and stood up.

"Excuse me" She murmured to her grandparents and walked over to where they were standing.

Asher's frown deepened when he saw Pepper approaching.

"She is coming over here. What should I do? Can you hide me in the kitchen till I can flee the country?" Asher grabbed Lucy's arm.

"Just tell her the truth, how bad can it really be?" Lucy asked him.

"Apocalyptical" Asher murmured.
