Capítulo 18: Aggressive Feelings

Despite being able to read her mind and predict her actions, Malik was still taken aback by her smearing a perfectly good slice of pizza into his blazer. He allowed her to have her moment. Sure, it was petty, but she deserved a tiny little win that night. If ruining a blazer would make her feel better, then so be it.

However, it didn’t stop there. The girl took advantage of her daytime freedom to destroy other little things around the house. His blazer was one thing, but going around, knocking books off the shelf in the library, breaking fine china in the kitchen. You would think it would wear on his patience, but Malik couldn’t blame her. How else is a fragile being supposed to get aggression toward a vampire they don’t stand a chance against out?
