Capítulo 40: Chapter 40: Hollywood Lights and Secrets

It’s nearly 10 p.m. and I’m driving up to the Hollywood sign, which is the one thing I have been wanting to do since moving to Los Angeles. As a child, I watched many movies where the actors would go up to the sign and enjoy the view of the skyline as if they were looking at it from the top of the world. And ever since It’s been a dream of mine to fulfill my childhood fantasies.

What makes this even more special is that I’m going to the Hollywood sign for my first official date with Gray Wilder.

When I got the text from Gray asking if I’d meet him somewhere for a date, I never thought it would be at the Hollywood sign. I also had never thought he would ask me out on a date, especially when we haven’t put a label on our relationship or even discussed what it is we’re doing together. I like the term ‘taking things slow’ because, with Gray Wilder, you have to go slow to not spook him.
