The one thing I do like about Los Angeles is how empty the roads are at midnight compared to peak hour traffic in the middle of the afternoon. The drive home from the arena where the Blood Ink concert happened has been pleasant, to say the least. Despite my mind spinning from learning about the fake relationship, I was able to relax slightly and just enjoy being alone for thirty minutes. It’s what I’ve needed after a long day.

The street where my apartment is located is desolate besides the light bouncing off the asphalt as my car pulls into the underground parking garage. The summer is still and ambient as I exit my car, taking a deep breath to enjoy this moment of silence and solitude.
