Capítulo 39: Confusion
[a/n: just going to drop this quick chapter and say something real quick: Some of you, if not most, are soft. I've never seen so many comments and reviews that complained this much. I know the "controversy" happened a while ago, but I just saw a review about it and man, the thread is something. I'm not going to delete anything no matter how bothered I am by it unless you come to promote something that's not related to my works.
Anyways, I'm not going to tell anyone to go to my Patreon to see the "truth" of the controversy but I 'll just say that in a few chapters, itll be revealed. So if you wanna wait, be my guest. Itll be a long wait. I find extremely difficult as of late to focus on my fanfics, especially the smuts due to how annoyed I am by the reception this story got. Apologies to those who genuinely enjoy it and don't mind the direction the story went. And for those that say I have a "fetish", Grow up.
If I had a fucking fetish, I'd write Rape Smut and jerk off until I pass out. No, I'm a writer, I write. If I feel comfortable alluding to a messed up situation, Ill write it. Fully writing it and explicitly describing the rape scene is not something I'd do. ]
(Third Person POV)
"I believe you owe us an explanation, Captain Aizen." Retsu said as she and Kyoraku stepped through the sliding doors
Just outside Aizen's office, Isshin was telling the gathering crowd of Squad 5 Shinigami and telling them to calm down about the commotion.
Aizen, who was sitting on his desk with a calm smile on his face, merely tilted his head, "I don't understand." He said
Retsu gave her a calm but serious look, "Enough games." She said, "Why is my Husband so persistent on taking your head?"
"I don't know. He keeps spouting such nonsense." Aizen said with no reaction
"And there's the fact you used your zanpakuto on us, Sousuke." Kyoraku said as he tipped his hat, "I don't know but that screams suspicion. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt but tell us, is what Genryujin said true?"
Aizen sighed, "I have no idea what he's talking about." He said, "Why would I, a Captain in the Gotei, would aid a Noble in performing sexual acts on a prisoner? It is unbelievably foolish of-...."
His expression changed to one of surprise, as if a light turned on in his head, one that caught him off guard.
"What is it?" Retsu asked
Aizen slowly stood up, "You'd have to forgive my actions, Captain Unohana." He said, "You must understand; the reason why I tricked you like this. When The Sword God comes to your front door in an angry manner, you must always look out for yourself."
"You used one of your men as a replacement to take Genryujin's punihsment?" Kyoraku said
"Ah, that. Worry not, that was also a fake.....long way to explain it." Aizen said, "But I will prove my innocence by pointing my finger at someone else."
Retsu frowned, "Be careful of what your next words will be, Captain Aizen. Right now, my husband is engaged in combat and is being stalled by Kenpachi." She said, "I'm at a point where I'm willing to let him pass by me."
Kyoraku sighed, "That's not good, Sousuke, when Unohana-san's patience runs out, it's over for all of us." He said, "Explain yourself."
"Yes, my Zanpakuto's true ability is hypnosis." Aizen said, "And yes, I did use it on you guys but it was a mistake. I didn't think it would work on Captains, but I guess it worked. But that worked out; Genryujin undid the effects."
"Continue." Retsu said
"I have only activated once in front of the Captains and Vice-Captains, but not all of them." Aizen said, "If you recall, The Captain-Commander, Vice-Captain Sasakibe, and even Captain Kenpachi were the ones that weren't present."
"That is true." Kyoraku nodded
"Why would I even be near the 1st Division Barracks in the first place? If you had interrogated the Noble, you would have found out about the dates of the 'meetings' and I could've proven that I wasn't present there." Aizen continued, "Not only that, it would take an arrogant fool to think they could do something so absurd without invoking Genryujin's wrath. There's a few people that have that kind of mentality and trust me, they're not in the Gotei."
"What are you trying to say?" Retsu asked, "My likeness was used. Whoever did this wanted to cause a rift between myself and Genryujin, Aizen."
"It wasn't my Kyoka Suigetsu that was used, Unohaha-san." Aizen said, "It was the Tsunayashiro's Zanpakuto. Enrakyoten was used."
Kyoraku widened his eyes, "What did you say?!"
"That is the only explanation I can think of." Aizen said, "And I know exactly who did it."
"It was Tokinada."

Back to the outside, where Genryujin stood over Kenpachi, the 11th Division Captain was getting on his knees, every single inch of his body wobbling.
"Ugghh....." He groaned
Genryujin looked at him, "Stay down." He said, "I'm done fighting you."
"Fuck you." Kenpachi growled, "This isn't over...."
"I said stay down." Genryujin scowled, "Now!"
"Ken-chan!!!" a loud and bright voice said
Genryujin, Ukitake, and Byakuya turned to see Yachiru running towards them, Ikkaku and Yumichika behind her.
"Yachiru..." Kenpachi said as she reached them
"What are you doing?!" Yachiru exclaimed
"Captain! Are you okay?" Ikkaku asked as he placed his hand on his sword, "G-Genryujin-san, did you do this?"
Genryujin nodded, "Yea, stand down." He said walking away, "My business is not with you."
As he walked, Kenpachi looked at him, "Genryujin!!" He shouted, "You bastard!!!"
Genryujin stopped and looked at him, "Yea, I changed, Zaraki." He said seriously, "But I changed for the better, at least I thought so....But you don't know shit about me, you never did. And there's one thing you may be right about. I shouldn't have changed."
"This wouldn't have happened if I didn't."
