Capítulo 50: Perfect balance

Kiyota's body began to change, the white reiatsu went across his body, reshaping and refining his hollow body. His decently big frame began to shrink, condensing into a more humanoid shape. The reiatsu condensed, leaving behind a sleeker, more powerful form. Kiyota felt an indescribable pain coursing throughout his entire body. It was as if he was being unmade and remade simultaneously. His roar of agony echoed through the false mountain range. The white flames died down, leaving behind wisps of steam rising from his new body.

Kiyota's form was now humanoid, just a little bit taller, standing at 6'6. His body was covered in the pale white hollow shell, including his face and hair. Nothing was visible. There was a tiny round hole for his right eye which was showing his 3 tomoe sharingan. His vision was limited to one eye because the other one was covered. As the dust and steam finally settled, his body was properly visible.

Kiyota had lost his wings and claws. He now had arms with long slim white razors that went from his wrist to elbow. Kiyota ran his hands over his new body, feeling the smooth, hard surface of the hollow shell.

A sour thought crossed his mind as he realised the implications of his new form. He couldn't fly anymore, and his vision was limited to just one eye. The loss of these abilities left a bitter taste in his mouth.

"Damn it," Kiyota muttered, his voice sounding strange and hollow to his own ears. "I hate not being able to fly. And this one-eyed vision is going to take some getting used to."

'Isn't this too much of a coincidence? It reminds me of Obito's mask. the only difference is, that I can't take mine off yet.' Kiyota thought to himself.

"You have received 3 new skills" Siri said.

He flexed his arms, feeling the weight of the razor-like extensions on his arm. Kiyota's single visible eye narrowed as he surveyed his surroundings. The transformation had left him feeling disoriented, and created a crater in the mountain peak.

"Alright open new skill panel."

Sonido: Sonido is a high-speed movement technique used by Arrancar in Bleach. It allows them to move at incredible speeds, often appearing to teleport or vanish.

Cero Oscuras: User performs a powerful variation of the Cero technique exclusive to vasto lorde. It's a black, destructive energy beam with immense power and range.

Near Death Regeneration: This is an ability that allows the user to rapidly heal from severe injuries or even regenerate lost limbs, organs, or body parts, even bringing them back to life from the brink of death.

'I knew the cero oscuras and sonido would basically come to me, but the evolution of my regeneration skill is unexpected. But it makes sense to have that upgraded aswell as vasto lorde usually get an upgrade of their healing. I feel a little bit stronger, but I'm not sure how much. The upgraded regeneration ability can basically bring me back to life if I'm on the verge of death. That's crazy.'

"New quest. Check the panel." Siri said as she opened the holographic screen infront of Kiyota.

"What does the reward mean?" Kiyota asked Siri.

Siri sighed before answering, "You transformed into hollow without dying, and so you are still human even though you are also a hollow. Do you understand?"

"Yeah I get it. And the balance thing...?" Kiyota asked another question.

"When you reach level 80 and assimilate the Hōgyoku fragment then you will become more stable. You are basically half human, half hollow and half soul reaper. You won't have a hollow hole as you do right now and neither will you have a hollow mask. You will have a human body, which might be slighty enhanced but your heart will beat." Siri answered.

"Ah right. I understand it now." Kiyota said. "Hey wait a minute... I don't have wings... How do I get down?"

"I- uhhh... I don't know... Jump?" Siri said, her voice unsure.

"What... Telling someone to commit suicide? Just wow..." Kiyota joked with her.

Kiyota took a deep breath before taking a step forward to check out the jump. He looked over the edge and saw the steep slope of the mountain. He took another step forward, then another, until he was on the edge. Kiyota looked down again, the distance making him feel dizzy. The peak that Kiyota was on was decently high with other smaller cliffs around it. The jagged rocks were proturding out. There was a tiny little ledge which was visible.
