Capítulo 44: Dirty hollow
Aizen's eyes never left the girl as he replied, his tone had amusement. "Be at ease, Gin. She's no threat to us. At least, not yet. She has seen Kyōka Suigetsu."
The girl remained silent, her grey eyes scanning the scene before her. She regarded the three Shinigami before her. She understood their reiatsu levels and found that she was stronger than Tosen but much weaker than Gin and Aizen.
The Garganta remained open behind Yuzuki and a man with red hair stepped out, his excitement easily seen because of the grin. He wore the same Shinigami robes as the pink-haired girl, but his hollow mask was only visible when he grinned. A manic, battle-hungry smile that revealed His hollow nature was only visible, front teeth that were slightly longer and much sharper than normal, the remnant of his hollow mask. In his hand, he had a traditional double-edged longsword with intricate patterns.
Kain walked forward, positioning himself next to Yuzuki. He was unable to contain his excited laugh. His reiatsu was far stronger than the girl's and bore down on Tōsen with crushing force and caused even Gin to tense visibly.
Gin turned to Aizen, his tone was concerned. "Captain Aizen, this new guy... he's stronger than me."
Aizen's expression darkened slightly, the amusement in his face replaced by a calculating look that was observing the changes and making a plan. For the first time since the betrayal began, he seemed to be taking the situation truly seriously.
"Well, well," Aizen said, his voice smooth despite the tension in the air. "It seems our little party has some unexpected guests. How... intriguing."
Kain's grin widened, his reiatsu flaring even higher. "Fancy words aye, intriguing? Nah, I'd say it's about to get real fun around here."
Yuzuki remained silent, her grey eyes darting between Kain and their opponents.
Ichigo, who was still on the ground felt hope at saving Rukia from Aizen who was still holding her by the leash.
'This guy... He had managed to get Aizen serious. It's looks like they might fight. If they do then I'll try and saving Rukia.' Ichigo thought to himself in pain.
'God I can't wait any longer where are those two? Screw it!' Kain thought to himself as he launched himself towards the closest enemies, which was Tosen.
"Hey! Jinnie told you to wait." Yuzuki shouted, finally showing emotion.
"And you're fighting the wrong guy... I was supposed to fight him because I'm stronger than him." Yuzuki muttered under her breath, looking at Kain seemingly teleport to Tosen.
Gin got ready to help Tosen fight, as Tosen clashed zanpakuto with Kain. Aizen stopped him with his hand.
"She said 'Jinnie told you to wait,' that means there's atleast one more. And he will be the leader. You should fight the leader, I'll help you if anything goes wrong." Aizen said, seriously looking at Gin.
Gin tried to say something but Aizen cut him off.
"Kyōka Suigetsu is absolutely perfect. Do not fret and fight. If you lose I will finish it." Aizen assured Gin, who was still smiling.
Aizen and Gin stared at the still open Garganta as another figure emerged. The man had a slender, feminine physique with pale white skin and long white hair. He wore Shinigami clothes like the others. His Hollow mask was a small white crescent that arched above his eyebrows and slanted towards his eye like a Pac-Man shape. At his side hung a purple katana, its handle adorned with waxing and waning sigils.
Luna walked forward, his eyes scanning Soul Society and the scene. He shook his head in annoyance as he saw Kain and Tōsen fighting in the distance. Tōsen had already activated his Bankai, the black dome that nullified senses.
Gin, who was surprisingly still smiling, drew his zanpakuto, ready to fight.
Aizen smiled coolly despite the gravity of the situation, addressed Luna. "Welcome to Soul Society... Jinnie, was it? I must say, I'm a bit disappointed. I expected the leader to be stronger. You're a bit above Gin, but no match for me. Tell me, why have you come here?"
Luna looked at Aizen as if he'd gone mad. "My name is Luna, and I'm not the leader you're expecting," he said, his tone cool and measured. "You're perceptive, but you assume too much."
Aizen's eyes narrowed slightly, reassessing the situation. "Is that so? Then who-"
Before he could finish, another surge of reiatsu emanated from the Garganta.
The true leader was about to make his entrance.
Compared to the human figures before, a big and muscular figure walked out of the Garganta, and it finally closed. The muscular hollow had red skin, two hands and two feet. Claws as sharp as daggers and giant wings at the back. The hollow looked like a demon. Its hollow mask covered its face completely.
Luna addressed Aizen, his tone was filled with pride as he said, "This is my leader, Lord Jin."
Gin's endless smile widened, and he relaxed slight as he tried not to laugh.
"Ah... I'm sorry I think I'm having hearing problems. Wait... No I'm not. Are you retarded? Why are you calling a dirty hollow 'Lord'?" Gin asked Luna as he glanced at Kiyota.
Aizen tensed visibly as he looked at Kiyota, holding his zanpakuto tightly.
"Gin, be quiet," he said sharply.
Turning to his subordinate, Aizen's voice was low and serious. "This is no ordinary hollow. It's an Adjuchas, and while they aren't typically the strongest, this 'Lord Jin' is comparable to a weak Vasto Lorde. His reiatsu far exceeds the average level of an Adjuchas."
Gin's smile faltered slightly. "But Captain, I have more reiatsu than him."
Ignoring Gin's comment, Aizen addressed Kiyota directly. "How did you manage to create Arrancar?"
Gin looked confused at his captain's question and that to a 'dirty hollow', but remained silent.
'This guy... The first question he asks is this? Not even a 'who are you?' Kiyota thought to himself.
"Aizen... What a silly question. The Hōgyoku of course." Kiyota said to Aizen with an easy voice.
Aizen looked taken aback at this information, and even Gin seemed surprised by this information because Aizen had previously shared the concept of the Hōgyoku and that was the reason they were betraying Soul Society in the first place.
'I guess I just have to play it this way. I'm not worried about Kyōka Suigetsu's hypnosis ability because I put genjutsu on myself to not be able to see his zanpakuto at all. I just have to predict from the way he slashes his hand, though this is dangerous, it's the only way. But Aizen is still an extremely strong captain whose strength is too high for me right now. I don't think even if all of us attacked him at the same time we would win. But that's not the plan. Remember, fake it till you make it.' Kiyota thought.
Kiyota continued, his tone slightly teasing but more so questioning. "Oh wait, you don't have it yet do you. Were you hoping the Sōkyoku would help you cleanly receive it?" Kiyota gestured at Rukia who was still being held on by Aizen, by her leash.
Aizen's facial expression turned sour and dark as he stared at Kiyota. Aizen lifted his zanpakuto and faced it towards Kiyota. From Kiyota's point of view, Aizen was holding up nothing, kind of like a mime. Kiyota tried not to laugh at the hilarious scene despite the fact that Aizen could very well blitz him right here.
Aizen saw Kiyota's laugh and concluded that Kiyota was hiding his strength and thought Aizen was weak.
"Your Zanpakuto, Kyōka Suigetsu, absolute hypnosis. Too bad, it doesn't work on me." Kiyota said with a serious tone, glancing at Aizen.
"Yes, I realised." Aizen said.
