Capítulo 82: Odd Encounter (2)

Erik channeled a significant portion of his mana into the dart, aiming to kill the cub. Yet, despite his efforts, his mana was not enough to concoct something powerful enough to kill the beast. It still had much more mana, and it was bound to resist the poison created by Erik's own one pretty easily.

Erik watched as the beast kept chasing him.

"SHIT! IT WASN'T LIKE THIS THAT IT HAD TO GO!"

He had hoped the dart would at least incapacitate the beast, yet it only impaired it. The monster was far from being subdued. Its strength, though diminished, remained high.

Erik ran through the forest as fast as he could, scared and out of breath, while the Leylarhad chased after him.

At some point, Erik found himself in a clearing. The Leylarhad followed, its powerful legs thudding against the earth, each step leaving deep impressions on the ground.
