Ethan didn't know that Esmeralda would agree to get into a contract marriage with him so easily. No, it was not easy. He was thinking of different plans to make her agree with her plans and now that she herself said that she was willing to enter a marriage of convenience, he was shocked. 

Esmeralda Fox, the woman wanted by many, agreed to enter into the most stupid marriage of convenience with him. This woman had no idea about her worth. If she wanted she could find any bastard with money and live a comfortable life. However, she easily accepted his offer and it was troubling him now. 

Easy things always unnerved him. It wasn't his fault as nothing in his life came easily and effortlessly to him. He had to pour his blood and sweat into everything to get what he wanted. He believed that he had not put much effort into getting her. To be honest, this woman was worth working hard for. She was brave, smart, generous and kind. Her heart was beautiful just like her outer shell.
