Capítulo 205: Difficulties

It was the time when Esmeralda and Ethan were returning to their place after dinner with the Kingsley family. The dinner was nice and peaceful. Esmeralda enjoyed her time there. Seeing Ethan's peaceful demeanor, she could say that he enjoyed his time here too. 

He was sitting with his eyes closed in the back seat of the car when she asked, "Do you come to meet them often?"

"I want to but I can't, "Ethan said. "Still, I come at least once a month."

Given Ethan's busy schedule to come once a month was not a small thing. This was telling her how close they were. She could tell from their interactions that they were close. 

Esmeralda nodded as if she understood. She did not say anything further as she was engaged in pondering something. 

"What are you thinking?" Ethan asked her. 

"I am just thinking that I will never ask you about your best friend or friends, "Esmeralda said and turned to look at him. "Was I so lost in myself?"
