Selena was still standing on the balcony when her cell phone rang. Judging by the name listed in the call, the name of someone he loves and always calms his heart.

"Assalamualaikum, father," Selena said with a smile.

Mr. Handoko, who was on Selena's cellphone screen, smiled at the girl who could always stir his soul.

"Waalaikumsalam, dear." Selena blushed when she got an affectionate call from Handoko.

"Why is your face sullen?"

"I miss dad."

"No, there must be another reason."

Selena realized she couldn't lie to Handoko, whatever she tried to hide she couldn't hold on to.

"Father, I've found the man held captive in my wheat field."

"Who's he?"

"He's Mr. Gordon, Matt's father and also my mother's ex-husband."
