Capítulo 16: 16 - The Brothers

I take two steps at once. I'm not running late but I won't allow myself to be late on my first day either. It's not ethical and Derek never chose to shut up about how handsome and talented my bosses are going to be. Derek has worked in the company for two years now and still can't be certain who he has a crush on! I assumed I wasn't interested in this, considering how inappropriate it would be but waking up this morning, I took an hour to pick up what I'm going to wear. Though, the choices weren't many.

I slide the doors and enter the office, greeted by many smartly-dressed colleagues. I wonder where's Derek, he left early as they are starting on a new project today. I keep eyeing everywhere I go and feel myself under a flashlight. Everyone has picked up a solid-colored shirt to wear and I'm here, looking like a living embodiment of a fucking meadow.
