I stood there, still catching my breath, feeling the weight of what had just happened begin to settle in. 

I had won. 

My chest heaved with each breath, the adrenaline still coursing through my veins, but it was already starting to fade, leaving behind an exhaustion that tugged at every muscle in my body.
