Capítulo 33: Surviving the storm

As the mana storm raged, Kaleb thrashed in Cassie's arms, his face twisted in pain. She could do nothing but watch on helplessly.

The flow of mana within him began to reverse violently, pulling back into his body and crackling in the air around him.

His skin glowed faintly, veins illuminated with the chaotic force he was absorbing. 

But it was too much, he was losing control.

His body trembled under the immense pressure of the swirling mana, threatening to collapse at any moment. 

Noticing the subtle shift in the flow of mana, Cassie leaned forward, eyes burning with determination. "That's it, Kaleb! You've got this!" she urged, her tone fierce and unwavering. 

But even with all his effort the violent thrashing within him refused to ease, growing more chaotic and uncontrollable with the more mana he absorbed. 

Cassie, unaware of this fact, did nothing but push him to absorb even more of the mana.
