Saleen's six shards of Eternal Control had been completely refined. Saleen was gaining a deeper understanding and awareness towards such things. Not only was Eternal Control manipulated by mental strength, it was also connected to the soul. The rule of Eternal Control was very powerful, but if his soul was weak, he would not be able to control many lives.

His mental strength would determine how many creatures he could command in battle at one go while his soul would determine how many souls he could control in total.

Saleen was unable to determine how strong his soul was but based on what Jason had hinted to him, his determination, mental strength, and spirit would all determined how strong his soul was.

Saleen knew that his spirit was not strong because through his adventure, he realized that in his body, there was a part of him that was still weak and would be in considerable pain once triggered slightly.

That part of him was his past. His childhood.
