"Isn't that Mr James?" Valentina asked, pointing at the retreating backs of James and Avery who were further down the hallway from her.

"I believe so. I think he came to check if you were in the dressing room," her assistant replied from behind her.

Knowing her assistant was trying to tell her she was late in a subtle manner, Valentina ignored her and continued with her questions, "Who's that with him? She looks familiar but I can't point out where I've seen her. Is she an actress?"

"I don't think so, Miss Valentina. I've not seen an actress with hair as long that long in our agency. She might be one of the cast members for Broken Hearts though," the assistant replied, trying as much as she could to disguise her dislike for the lady walking in front of her. Even with the knowledge that it was not this lady's fault that Emma, her former boss died, the assistant could not help her dislike for her.
