Capítulo 47: Progress

I checked over the notifications received from my talk. Looking at them it was all changes in that stats. however what was important was the new position I was able to forcibly give Azula. The position was read as Experimental Disciple. Which honestly didn't seem accurate, but it had a apt description.

Reading out as, Being the test subject for experimental firebending techniques she is your student in the endeavors of using these new ideas.

So I guess the title worked, but it was certainly a title Azula would be mad about. I stopped, "Wait...Fuck i forgot to ask about food!" I refund the noodle stand with a much smaller line that earlier. With the rebound of that mental win I got my noodles.

While eating noodles I headed back to the waiting area. I saw Hio standing around, "Where have you been?"

"Gwedding Noodles!"

"Well the announcer called Alexia out there."

I hadn't even heard the announcement. I looked at the arena to see Alexia running around being chased down. The person chasing her was panting and launching the occasional fire punch. She really had done what I said about getting endurance. I slurped the rest of my noodles and tossed the disposable bowl away.

"Well, this whole thing is gonna take forever and I'm getting bored. Imma take a nap Hio, if you could wake me up when I have to fight."

"By a exhausted collapse Number 5 loses the fight. Bravo to #11 who won another fight by running away. What a skill!"

As the announcer talked Hio made a crinkled face. "What's up?"

"Does he have to be so sarcastic, I think Alexia did great."

Seriously was I just crazy or was it very obvious that Hio liked Alexia. Should I set them up? Nah...it would be best to let them get together naturally. If i have to interfere I will.

"She did win though, twice! Honestly I expected her to lose at least once."

Hio scratched his head, "I guess...Still I don't think."

I stopped him talk as the Announcer mentioned both mine and Hio's Numbers. "Well Hio, unless you want to fight I am going to take a pass."

"I would prefer not to fight you."

I nodded, "let's go then..."

I motioned to the announcer and once we got to the arena I bowed and left. "Wh-What's this? It seems we have our first fight being skipped. Number 7 had passed his turn leaving him to be matched with whoever passes next or the player who doesn't fight. Number 8 stay inside the arena and wait for number 10!"

Hio could win, its was a simple fight. I felt bad for Flee, I was pretty sure he would gain a losing streak if he doesn't get a better fight. From my estimation at the end of this 4 people would have a 2 win streak. Unfortunately Hio and I ended up getting matched up. Which meant one of us would be guaranteed a loss.

I didn't really care about winning, as I was pretty sure that the estimation of 4 would wind up as 3. It was just a guess, but I thought it was pretty good one as the lovable cactus was staring at me. Feng Tai had three empty benches around him and was polishing his sword.

I met his stare sitting down at a different bench that was angle towards his. I shrugged put my feet up and laid back against the bench's table. I heard the slight bang of the table coming from Feng Tai's direction. I had my questions about the guy, but I was more into mind games. I treated his stare like it was nothing and he had clearly reacted to it. Putting a smile on my face I let myself drift to sleep.

----Unknown pov-----

"He surrendered."

"Indeed he has."

"You really think he is the one?"

"The avatar? God no. The spirits told me that he was a 12 year old boy."

A different member spoke. "Except he is special? I understand you talked to the spirits, but shouldn't you be with..."

"I should, but I would like my family on the right path. Sometimes a outside perspective is needed."

"You don't know why he is special though?"

"I do not, I simply know that the spirits felt the reincarnation of someone special."

The other members nodded and watched the waiting area. "I suppose outside perspectives is what we are all about. Are you going to invite him in?"

"No, at least not until this war is over."

"Grand-master, are you sure you want him to be hanging around Princess Azula?"

I could only smile, I too doubted that Azula could be saved. "I am sure, though I am in doubt."

The other members talked... "Hey isn't that one a old student of yours."

"Don't remind me, he does not believe in the way of the sword. I can only hope he is defeated here and banished. I truly do not hope he is trained with the others in secret."

"Ah yes, I do enjoy the idea of the failures being kidnapped, brainwashed and trained to be assassins."

"Do you have to be so...?"

"Real? Haha we all know it is just another long line of mistakes being done by the royal family. Wait I mean."

"Its fine, I believe we can all agree on the mistakes of the fire nation in general."

"Yeah, I'm just glad I don't live here."

----Oh boy hope the unknown pov doesn't make the chapter awkward. Hope you enjoyed : )----
