Getting off the trolley I tipped the conductor, since he had to actually push the trolley. The trolley man started pushing the trolley back along the rail.
"Who's this bitch?" Azula seemed to be picking up my language. Whether that was good or not, eh. I turned around and saw a woman staring at the girls.
When I finally turned she spoke. "Hello my name is Joo Dee, welcome to the noble district of Ba Sing Se. You are our esteemed guests, as missives of the Beifong family we are happy to tell you the Earth King will see you in a weeks time."
"In a week serious?"
Joo Dee nodded at Mai's sarcasm, "Indeed! Much faster then the normal month long wait some might need. You will be invited to Bosco's birthday party where you will be in the presence of the earth king. If you do not have clothes fit for the occasion we will happily provide them for you."
Joo Dee began walking along and I shrugged following after her. "We are currently in the noble district of Ba Sing Se, there are many things to do here. Like the Luxury bath houses and the Exclusive Ma Ping Theater. If you go down the west road you will arrive at the entertainment and market district. As you might imagine there are many shops and more public entertainment houses. After that is the lower districts. You may go there if you like however since those are mostly homes. I suggest you spend your time touring Ba Sing Se's wonderful economy."
"Is it me or does she got something weird going on?"
I gave Ty Lee a nod, I knew all the details, but... "She's likely hypnotized or brainwashed. Honestly I am surprised the fire nation doesn't do it. In the end you could likely punch her or something and she would just stand there."
Azula nodded, "I am inclined to agree, she is far to relaxed and her eyes are strangle dilated. Also brainwashing was considered, but it doesn't actually stop dissenters. So indoctrination is what the fire nation used. Which strangely I never really looked at."
Mai shrugged, "That's because you were indoctrinated."
"What's the difference between brainwashing and indoctrination?"
I looked at Ty Lee and explained, "Brainwashing is basically imprinting idea into a person. Basically forcibly overwriting their morals and stuff like that. indoctrination is when you raise children to share the same ideals and all that. Basically brainwashing is by force while indoctrination is compliance."
We looked up at a manor that Joo Dee led us too, "Welcome to your temporary home. If you need anything I will be staying in the building right over there for your convenience. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I will be prepared to show you around the city at any desired time."
Joo Dee began walking away until Azula grabbed her. "Do you have a question for me?"
Mai spoke my thoughts, "Creepy." Azula however smacked Joo Dee in the face. "Do you have a question for me?"
Azula slapped her again this time much harder. Joo Dee's face had a large red mark now and Joo Dee just smiled. "Do you have a question for me?"
Azula looked at me and I shrugged. "What?"
"Don't what me, punch her."
"Punch who? Violence is not supported in Ba sing se. Since this is a city of peace, just like the rest of the world."
I looked at Azula with a question gaze and she filled me in. "I want to know how spaced out she is."
I rolled my eyes, that was needlessly pointless. I knew Azula just wanted to use Joo Dee as a punching bag. There a couple dozen Joo Dee's though, I sighed. Throwing a punch I knocked Joo Dee out. She dropped backwards into Azula like a bag of flour and Azula smiled.
Mai just shook her head, "I am gonna go inside."
I knocked Joo Dee out completely because I actually wanted to sneak around. Having the tour guide with me wouldn't be helpful. I tapped Lime signalling him to do whatever and he ran into the house as well. I cracked my knuckles and nodded to Azula. "I am gonna go explore the town, you girls settle in meet the neighbors, and do whatever."
Azula gave a sadistic smile, "No problem, Ty Lee grab her legs. Let's tie her up so she doesn't end up fleeing or something."
Ty lee bit her lip, "Why though?"
Azula raised an eyebrow and I replied, "because number one we don't want her to be reporting our actions. Number two we don't want to be spied on and number three..." I looked at Azula and the sighed, "Three Azula is just bored."
"You know me so well, I want to know more about this brain washing."
I rolled my eyes, pulling out a letter from my pocket. Guess it was time to go meet some people.
