Capítulo 88: Ch 89: You will take over for me

The sound of Lisa's front door opening was loud and clear. It could be heard in the bedroom, and Lisa felt a sense of dread.

Her feelings lasted until the door opened, and Nick entered the room calmly.

Nick did look a little annoyed at seeing Lisa and Emma cuddle, but he quickly threw himself over the pair to form a pile on the bed.

"Ugh, that was some hard work. I will not lose another rock-paper-scissor match next time. Lisa, I missed being with you. It was hard to be about and about without you."

Nick sounded upset but was happy to be back cuddling with Lisa. His hands traveled all over Lisa's blanket until he felt comfortable and slept.

Or at least Nick pretended that he was asleep. Lisa was unsure if Vampires even needed sleep or were nocturnal, but she did not want to ask Nick this when he was pretending to be this tired in front of her.

"You should go back to sleep now. I will wake you up when it is time for your shift."
