Capítulo 118: Private Lesson II

Isabella took her time retrieving the pen before straightening up. "Where were we?" she asked innocently, brushing a strand of hair from her face. Her cheeks were faintly flushed, though whether it was intentional or not was anyone's guess.

Arthur's voice was a little rough as he responded. "You were... asking about weaknesses."

"Ah, yes," she said with a soft smile. "Demons have many weaknesses, but one of their strongest tools is distraction. It's important to stay focused, no matter what." Her gaze lingered on him for a moment longer than necessary, a hint of amusement in her expression.

As she returned to her notes, she shifted her stance, her skirt catching on the edge of the desk. The fabric lifted slightly, revealing the lacy tops of her stockings. She didn't seem to notice, though Arthur's sharp intake of breath betrayed that he certainly had.

"Arthur," she said, tilting her head. "Is something distracting you?"
