Capítulo 31: Cherish Her Well

Safira thought it was just her imagination at first. But if Damien heard it too, it had to be real.

The howl grew louder.

"The border patrol back home had been reporting sightings ever since you've had the dreams. Could it be… your wolf?" Damien wondered aloud.

Spurred on by his revelation, Safira knew she had to find it. Every time she had met the wolf in her dreams, it would disappear as soon as she got to it. Would the same thing happen in reality?

Holding onto Damien's hand, they followed the sound of the howl in the darkness. After walking for some time, they came closer and closer.

"There!" Damien exclaimed in a whisper as he pointed a distance away.

Just like in her dreams, a ghostly white wolf stood on the cliffside. Safira found herself rooted to the ground, unable to take a step forward. Then, a voice echoed in her mind.

'Can you hear me?'
