Max carried Sorsha to her chamber and gently placed her on her bed. I wasn't far behind him and walked in. I walked over to her bed and grabbed her hand as I sat down beside her. She was still unconscious, but she started to come around. " Im sorry Sorsha, I lost my temper again". She opened her eyes and looked around, " Its ok Alora, I would have lost my temper too in that situation,'' as she smiled. Max took a deep sigh of relief as he began to stroke Sorsha cheek, " Im glad youre ok, but I really need to get back to Dez and see what is going on. I'll be sure to come back and check on you before I go to my chambers". She smiled at him and he walked away. Sorsha turned to me and seen the apologetic look on my face, " Alora, don't be upset, I told you, I wouldve did the same thing". I couldn't help but not feel bad. She is my bestfriend and it's my fault she's lying here in pain. "Sorsha I could have handled it a little better, I should've just beat her face in, but I didn't want Dez to see me fight". She gave me a puzzled look and huffed, "Alora, why don't you want him to see you fight? You are very good and strong, you shouldnt be embarrassment". "Sorsha I'm his other half, I suppose to be lady like and kind of a weakling". She started laughing so hard as she began to sit up in the bed, " Weakling? Alora there is no way Dez will see you as a weakling. And as far as being ladylike, you can be and kick a little ass too. Just talk to him Alora, I'm sure he wouldn't care as long as you're being yourself". Shes right, no matter what, my bloodmate will want to be with me regardless of what I do. I gave her a big hug, " Thank you for being there for me, you really are my best friend. I'm about to go to my chamber and get ready to go to bed. I will see you in the morning, maybe we can spar again". She smiled and layed back down, " I would rather relax tomorrow, like going to the beach or in town". I stood up and began to walk," Well Dez is supposed to take me to town for my birthday so you and Max can come, so we will be going to the beach and having a little fun". She nodded and I walked out of her chamber with a lot of things on my mind. I was walking down the corridor thinking when I bumped into "her". She looked me up and down, " You need to watch where you're going, Dez isn't here to protect you". This bitch really just lost her fucking mind, " Excuse me, you bumped into me, learn some manners", as I tried to walk away. She turned and grabbed my arm, " This isn't over heffer, Dez is mine and I'm prepared to fight for him.'' Are you fucking kidding me? Is she serious right now? I turned to her and walked up closer so we were face to face, " Listen here you dizzy little bitch, I dont have to fight for whats mine. If you had any fucking sense you would turn around and leave this castle. But you dont, youre going to stay here, cause troulbe and make me beat your fucking face in". She had an amused look on her face, " Oh really? He's your huh? I don't think so sweetie, we were promised to each other since birth. Hes mine and like I said, I'm prepared to fight for what's mine". She stood back, pulled her weapon out, and stood in a fighting stance. I really dont have time for this bullshit tonight, I could stay here and fuck her up, but I'm really not in the mood. I turned around to walk away again when she ran up to me when my back was turned and tried to attack me, but she was stopped dead in her tracks. I turned to look around and seen Dez coming from around the corner, " I told you Kyra, now I'm going to show you just how serious I am.'' His eyes started to glow, but this time it was different, there were a black mist circling his eyes. A black mist began to rise from the floor and began to engulf her as she began to scream. The mist started circling faster, then she began to gasp for air. I ran over to him and began to whisper in his ear, " You're going to have to calm down, If you don't, you're going to kill her. Please I know you're pissed but there is another way to handle this". I seen his body tense up, then his face looked even more pissed. I grabbed his hand and began to rub and caress it, " Dez, its green eyes, Im safe, no one has hurt me". Still nothing, he's so pissed I dont know if I can calm him down. I have one idea left, so I walked up to him, grabbed his face and began to kiss him. At first he tensed up more, then he began to relax. The mist around Kyra began to disappear, and at that same moment his eyes started to return to normal. I stepped back away from him and looked into his beautiful eyes, " There you are", as I smiled. Kyra fell to her knees gasping for air" How could you"? As she continued to catch her breath. He tried to turn to face her but I grabbed his chin and held his head in place. At that moment my father was walking around the corridor and stopped when he seen us, " What is going on here?" He turned to Kyra, " What the fuck are you doing here Kyra?" She looked up at him and began to stand up, " I came here to fight for my Dez. This half breed thinks she can take him from me". He stared at her for a moment and started laughing, "Are you fucking serious Kyra? You came here to try to fight my daughter for her blood mate? It's too late for this shit, I'm going to bed". He turned to Dez, " Make sure she make it to her chamber safely". Dez nodded and we began to walk down the corridor. Father blocked Kyra way so she couldn't follow us, but she did try to get around him. When Dez and I reached my chamber wwe stopped at my door, " Alora", he said softly, " I'm so so sorry you had to see me like that. If you allow me I will spend the whole eternity making it up to you". He is so sweet, I don't know why he would think I'm mad at him. I looked him dead in his eyes, " Dez, I'm not upset with you, How could I be? You were protecting me", as I smiled at him. He put his head down in shame, " I should never lose my temper like that in front of anyone, especially you. I know you can take care of yourself, but I just have an overwhelming need to protect you. I swear on everything I love, I will never lose my temper like that in front of you, you are my everything". I couldn't let him promise me that. Even Tho its so sweet he would do that but I have a temper too. I lifted his head so he could look me in my eyes, " Dez we both have tempers, dont worry about it, I lost mine today too. You are my bloodmate, I could never worry... and before I could finish my sentence, he grabbed my face and began kissing me. He really caught me off guard but I quickly recovered from the shock and began kissing him back. He was so gentle but needing at the same time. He then pushed me against my door and his hand began roaming my body. I wrapped my hands around his neck and wrapped my legs around his waist. Suddenly he broke the kiss and turned his head, " I can't do this, I have to be patient, I have to wait for you". I was shocked but I did understand why he stopped. I turned his head back to face me and his eyes were glowing and he was breathing hard. He looked at me as his eyes began to dim and return to normal, " Alora there is nothing more I would rather do than become one with you but I have to wait. I respect you too much but do anything else but to wait" I straightened my clothes and began to fix my hair, " I understand, we both had rough nights, can't let our emotions get the best of us". He kissed me one more time before I went into my chamber and prepared for bed.
