Dez POV
I was finally done with my duties with King Titus. I have been on edge all day because I have seen Alora all day and King Titus knows. We have been planning all week and now that Marina bitch ass is here we can get started. The only really on my mind is Aloras birthday next week, I really want her to enjoy herself and have a memorable birthday. I will take to Tristan and Lynia about it, maybe they will have some ideas. I was walking down the corridor looking for her. The only thing I really want to do is see my green eyes. The sun will be setting in a few and I can't go another minute without seeing her. I looked for her and Sorsha but couldnt find them, I was starting to worry. As I was searching for them, I ran into Max and he was looking for them too. He said it was a private room where they practice hand on hand combat from time to time. I wonder why she hasn't told me about this, maybe she thinks if she's not at a master level its not worth mentioning. We talked about Sorsha and him, Aloras birthday, and mostly about out plan. On our way to the chamber we ran across Marina snooping around. She turned her nose at me, " I have nothing to say to you. We will see how cocky you are after Kyra arrives". I looked at her and just laughed, " Do I suppose to be worried about that dumb cunt"? I gave her the most serious look, " But I will tell you this, If that ditzy girl mess with me or Alora, I will make sure you and her will end up scrubbing dishes. Or maybe I will just take care of you myself, I'm sure King Titus wouldn't miss either of you". I heard Max snicker at my comment, I guess she did too, " Do you think I'm a joke Dez? I'm not afraid of you, or your little threats". I smirked at her little comment, shes amusing, " Marina you out of everyone in the Dragon Kingdom should know I don't make threats, I make promises, as I growled. She jumped at my growl and then collected herself, " Dez I know your a higher rank than me, but I will wait for the day when you're not just talk,'' as she walked away. I looked at Max, " Can you believe that bitch! I swear I don't know why King Titus bring her here". Max smiled as he put his hand on my shoulder, " Don't worry man, both her and Kyra are in for a big surprise if they keep picking on you, come on let's go find our women".
Aloras POV
Sorsha and I was practicing all day, when we looked outside we seen the sun was beginning to set. I usually feel better after practicing but I still feel kinda off and I don't understand why, maybe because I was sweaty and tired. I grabbed my bag, " Sorsha, I'm going to go clean up and meet you in the kitchen for dinner and a snack". She grabbed her bag to grab her towel and began to wipe the sweat off, " Dam Alora, I see you've been practicing, you've really made me work up a good sweat. Ok. I'll meet you in the kitchen in an hour, ''as she smiled. I used my vampire speed to go to my chamber, I really didn't want anyone to see me like this, especially Dez. I made it to my chamber and started to get myself together, until I sat on the bed and realized how tired I was. I stared at the chandelier studying the artwork until I dozed off...
Aloras dream
I was standing in the woods on a dark foggy night, the wind is blowing through my hair. I heard a noise from behind, as I turned around I saw a white dragon come from the darkness. He turned into his other form and then I ran up to him and kissed him, " I thought you would never come". I tried to stop myself because it wasnt Dez, but the feelings I had for him was the same. He spun me around and put me back down as he kissed me again, " I would never pass on an opportunity to see you my love". I remember how my heart was racing and it was a lot on my mind. "Tirrin, you must tell your father about us, my 18th birthday is approaching, then I will be Queen. Your father wouldn't be upset if your Other Half is Queen". He looked into my eyes, I couldn't control my movements or words, its like Im watching from within myself. " Love you know my father has his hopes of me being with Kela. We should just mate on your birthday and tell him, he can't do anything to us once we mate". Everything went dark and then I was standing in front of the Dragon King with his son telling him that we are mated. He screamed and yelled, " You can't do this Tirrin, you are promised to someone else!" He looked at his father and stood up straight, " Father, I had to my 100th birthday to find my Other Half, and I found her 5 years before the cut of date. I don't see a problem, I don't belong to no one but her and since she will become Queen of the Realm and I will be King! And there's nothing you can do about it!" Everything went dark again and I was standing in front of the whole realm with Tirrin as they put an Emerald crown on me and annocced me Queen and him King of the realm... everyone was cheering my name, "Alora,Alora,Alora! Then I woke up to Sorsha yelling my name.
Aubree POV
After meeting with King Titus and telling him the plan was going into effect, I went to talk to Marcel. I needed her to prepare Malik's chamber with roses, food, and some drinks. She gave me a funny look, but said ok. On my way to my chamber to freshen up, I ran into Sorsha. I walked up to her, crossed my arms, and started tapping my foot, " Just the vamp I wanted to see, your mother wants to talk to you and explain some stuff to you". She looked at me with disgust and hatred in her eyes when I mentioned her mother, " Don't ever mention that cold hearted bitch to me ever again!" Fuck her! There is nothing she has to say to me!, as she hissed. Damn, she really hates Cassandra, which I don't blame her, I've seen how she treated this little vamp and my niece. " Look Sorsha, I really know how you feel, I hate my mother so much, I call her by her name, never mother. I can't repair the relationship with my mother, but there is a chance that you can with Cassandra. She huffed and rolled her eyes, " Look, I know you're trying to help, but please don't. My mother has been evil to everyone in this castle. Why do you think the guards let her get beat up in the cells? Yes, I knew about her getting beat, but guess what? I DONT GIVE A FUCK!,and then she stormed away. Well I tried, I can't make her do anything she doesn't want to do. I went to my chamber and grabbed a couple of things, I'll just bathe in his chamber. When I made it to Maliks chamber, I seen Marcel walking out and closing the door, damn he's fast. She gave me a smirk, " I just got finished placing everything the way you asked. She looked me up and down, "Have fun", as she smiled and walked away. When I walked in it looked like a room for a princess. She found the candles and roses I wanted and place them just the way I wanted. I took my bath and prepared myself for him, I have been wanting and needing him all day. I just need to see and be close to him, it sounds needy but I just can't help myself i'm not going to help myself when he walked through the door and rip his clothes off and give him another wonderful night.
Tristan POV
After the meeting with my father, we all decided to start training the soldiers longer and harder in case Morton decided to attack. I helped Malik with the soldiers well into the night until they were dropping like flies because of exhaustion. Malik walked over to me with an exhausted look on his face, I put my hand on his shoulder, " You look worse off then some of the soldiers". He sighed and put his head down, " Yea I'm pretty tired, but we only have two weeks to get them in shape. I'm going to my chambers, I'm pretty sure Aubree is there waiting on me". I smiled and thought about when Lynia and I was mated, "You're pretty sure, I'll bet you a whole year pay that she's in your chambers with food and drink. I'm going to the garden to relax, then I'm going to my chamber." He took his armor off, " Ok, I'm going to get to my lovely bloodmate, I will see you tomorrow". I nodded and started walking to the garden. It's so peaceful out here, I love sitting here and smelling the flowers. I really needed to clear my head, everything that's going on has been a lot, As Aloras father I have to do everything in my power to protect her, well my whole family. Morton has fucked with the wrong family and I will kill anyone who messes with them. A growl escaped my lips as I thought of him getting his hands on her. I was listening to the crickets like it was music to my ears, then I felt a hand on my shoulder turning me around. " I've been looking for you everywhere, why are you avoiding me?" When I turned around, I saw her face, what the fuck does she want? " Why are you looking for me, and what do you want Marina?" She forced a smile on her face as she hugged me, " Is that any way to talk to an old friend? I have missed you and wanted to see you". This bitch thinks she is sneaky, I need to watch her. " Marina I haven't seen you in over 20 years, why would I want to see you?" She moved closer as she gave me a sad look, "Why do you treat me so bad after everything we have been through?" Is she serious right now? I think she has lost her fucking mind, "Marina look, I have my Other Half, I have a daughter that I love, would you please leave me the hell alone aand go and find you Other Half". She moved a little bit closer to me and tried to touch my cheek, but I moved back," Tristan we were suppose to be together, since birth we were to be together and rule the Dragon Kingdom. If it wasnt for that stupid law, we would be ruling together and would have children by now." Tell me, my love, you haven't thought about me not once in 20 years? You never thought what would it be like if we were together? You are mated to a weak half breed witch! I'm just as strong as you, I could've given you strong dragon heirs but instead your so called Other Half had a half breed", as she growled. I swear this arrogant bitch is going to make me smack her ass. She always looked down at anyone who isn't a dragon and it always has rubbed me the wrong way. " Marina, for the last fucking time, I dont want you, I never did. The only reason I even associated with you is because we betrothed to each other. I never liked or loved you and never will. I love Lynia and I don't care what she is, she is mine, just like Im hers. She may have had my daughter who is a splitting image of her, but that means we get to practice until we have a dragon, which I rather enjoy. Now if you say anything else about her or my daughter you will regret it. Get the fuck out of my face and never say anything else to me unless it something to do with your duties". She turned around to walk away, but she then turned around, ran and wrapped her arms around me to kiss me. As soon as she tired, I felt the wind increase and really started blowing. All of a sudden a vine ripped Marina away from me and against a tree. Vines started wrapping around her entire body, the only thing visible was her eyes. I looked around because I already who it was and she is pissed. Lynia stepped from around the entrance of the door, her eyes were glowing and her hair was beginning to turn white, fuck!! It's hard to calm her down when she's this mad.
