Back on the mainland, specifically Europe, the second of the brothers arrived. His face held a smile while those accompanying him were mostly grim, specifically the woman trailing behind him with her head bowed slightly.

She felt ashamed and annoyed.

The shadow following close behind the two rested his gaze on the female, suppressing his killing intent. First assistant Marie Kronen is a pureblood and favoured child from the Kronen family, from young she and her sister had been raised to serve the two masters but her sister had lost to the Vek useless daughter. Marie, unlike her elder sister, was smarter and hid well, so when her sister made a mistake she made sure it was well known to cut everything off from the root. Siblings like them would kill each other rather than protect therefore she had no scruples watching her elder sister die. She did shed a few tears, but that is all for the sake of survival.
