Melissa lay prostrate on the ground, "Yes, great Lord of Darkness, I am prepared to dedicate everything I have to the new master. I will become the most loyal servant of the master, never to betray."
Sky Scar nodded and said calmly, "Good, dedicate your soul."
"Yes, great master. I, Melissa of the Dracula Clan, am willing to dedicate everything under the witness of all the dark forces between heaven and earth. Serving as the humblest power to highlight my master's glory, I will obey all my master's commands, and my soul will forever be an auxiliary to the master. Soul·Blood of Dedication." Unlike supernatural beings of other series, the dark series supernatural beings place utmost importance on the cultivation of the soul. Science has proven the existence of the soul, and the strength of the soul determines the power of a dark series supernatural being. To dedicate her soul was tantamount to dedicating everything. Even if Sky Scar was much weaker than Melissa, a single thought would be enough to make Melissa disappear instantly.
Reaching out with his right hand, engulfed in purple flames, Sky Scar grabbed the bead. As his hand touched the Pearl of Soul, Melissa's body twisted violently. The purple light flashed, and the black hexagram and Melissa's Pearl of Soul vanished.
An satisfied laughter escaped from Sky Scar's lips, he waved his right hand, and a field of purple flames enveloped Melissa's body. Melissa, who had lost all energy, actually stood up. Against normal scientific understanding, her disappeared hands and wings began to regrow.
"Very well, now you are the most faithful servant of Sky Scar. No matter where he is, you can summon you to his side through his connection to your soul. Later on, Sky Scar will be unconscious for an hour. When he wakes up, you can teach him the method of Ability Summoning, and let him leave. Don't tell him about my existence. Looking at Melissa, Sky Scar grew bolder, coughed lightly and said, "Melissa, since you have confirmed my identity, I can leave here, right?"
Melissa nodded her agreement, "Master, you can leave at any time. However, your current physical condition is very weak. I suggest you rest first and leave after your power is fully restored. As your servant, I have a few gifts I want to give you. Although they are not precious, they will definitely be of some help to you."
Sky Scar was now fully aware of Melissa's loyalty towards him. He also clearly understood his own physical condition and nodded, "Then, I'll rest here for a while." Following Melissa through the auditorium, Sky Scar entered a room about fifty meters square at the back of the hall. Contrasting the gloominess of the hall, the room was filled with a faint aroma. The floor was covered with thick, long-haired carpets and even the room's walls were adorned with furs of various precious animals. In the center of the room was a large bed that could comfortably accommodate three or four people without feeling crowded. The sight of the pink bedspread subconsciously made Sky Scar recall his previous romantic encounter in Dream City. Subconsciously, he reached out towards Melissa's shoulder. He was just a normal person too, and how could he resist the strong temptation from Melissa once he felt the crisis was over?
Melissa vocalized a soft groan and Feng Yuan fell from her hands onto the ground. Her soft and resilient body slid into his arms like a snake. Sky Scar's hand greedily gripped her ample chest but just as he was about to take action, he found his body losing the ability to move.

She carefully extricated herself from his arms, helping the stiff Sky Scar onto the large bed. Looking at the vacant expression in Sky Scar's eyes, she softly said, "Great Master, I'm sorry, it's not that I don't want to serve you. It's just that your power is not strong enough yet.
