Cheng Ruowei was visiting Di Jinye's office for the first time.

"Do you need more time to look around, Secretary Cheng?"

Di Jinye sat behind his desk, his gaze sharply fixed on her.

As the rumors had suggested, agreeing to become Di Jinye's secretary marked the beginning of her hardships.

"...Does Mr. Di have any instructions for me? I am still not quite clear on what my duties are, and I'm afraid I might delay something important."

What she meant was that she didn't want to be tasked with doing anything at all.
