Capítulo 142: He is the one!

Aaron was shocked to hear Maria's name, she was attacked?..

The music had stopped, everyone surrounded them to see what was going on and in between them both Arthur and Aaron were standing, Aaron who was confused and Arthur full of anger.

A friend of Aaron took out his phone and called someone and said to hurry and arrive there.

He asked ' Is Maria alright?'

Hearing it Arthur was even angrier, he took 2 steps towards him and he kicked Aaron on the stomach making him groan and as the floor was wet he slipped and he fell heavily…

Aaron was in pain but he thought about Maria, he was worried, he again asked while he was down on the floor with his voice full of pain ' I'm asking you, is she okay?'

Arthur placed his leg over his ankle pressing it with force and he said ' Of Course, she will be okay, She has me to save her. I ain't a bastard like you, who bite behind the back'

Aaron felt as if his ankle would be crushed but more than that the words of Arthur were hurting him, he said ' What do you mean?'

Arthur looked at him and said in a cold tone ' You after sending your goons to kill her you came here and were partying, enjoying yourself while she was in pain there, asshle how dare you play a game with me. That day in the office, you dared to challenge me to take care of her, pretending as if you care and then you attack her, I will vanish your whole family's name from the globe' hearing his cold roar everyone shivered in fear.

Aaron felt chills on his body hearing it, but he was confused as he didn't do anything, he said ' I don't know what are you talking about I didn't send any goons to kill her why will I send someone to kill her I love her'

Hearing the last 3 words Arthur became furious he bent down, held him by his collar and pulled him with force making him stand he said ' You still dare to say that? After doing all this. You are so shameless' and he again swung his hand to punch him but Aaron dodged it and moved back, But Arthur didn't stop the more he resisted the more angry he was getting.

Aaron was taking steps backwards and Arthur was coming forward and Aaron again dodged his kick and he said ' Can't you hear me once? I said I didn't attack her, you are here fighting me and the real culprit is roaming freely'

Arthur said ' I know it's you, don't try to act like a saint bastard'

Aaron now understands that someone has done the dirty work and put his name in front, he has to clear it or else Arthur will think it's done by him and for it, he has to go out alive from here.

Aaron looked at Arthur and said ' I don't care what you say, If you have any evidence file a case I will meet you there'

Arthur, hearing it chuckled and said ' Case? I will kill you right here'

He said and was taking a step towards him suddenly Aaron's guards arrived and they pointed their guns against Arthur and Arthur's guard towards them, Arthur looked at Aaron with a cold expression and Aaron said ' You can't do it Arthur, let's see what happens' saying he turned and hurriedly left with his guards…

Arthur, if wanted could have done it but seeing so many people, he didn't want to put their life at risk and he wanted to see what Aaron can do further and he will kill him a slow and painful death.

Even though he left the farmhouse and headed towards his Palace, Maria was worried and was waiting for him. She tried to call him but it couldn't connect which made her more worried as she knew he was finding the person behind the attack and was afraid he might hurt himself.

She was in deep thoughts and suddenly her phone rang and without looking at it picked up thinking it was Arthur and said ' Hello, where are you, Arthur?'

On the other side of the call, Aaron hearing her worried voice for Arthur made him all jealous, he suppressed it and asked ' Are you okay?'

Maria, hearing a different voice, was shocked and looked at the caller Id and saw Aaron written on it. She was disappointed and said ' Yes I am fine'. Aaron could hear the disappointment in her voice and he just hummed and disconnected the call.

Maria looked at the disconnected call and felt a bit weird but she didn't mind as she was more worried for Arthur, the lady came and asked her to have something but she refused and said she will have it when Arthur comes.

She was sitting thinking of him and the lady came and said ' Ma'am Master is here '

Listening to it Maria jumped up and ran towards the entrance and saw Arthur coming in and she ran and hugged him tightly, Arthur hugged her back and was a bit confused he asked ' What happened?'

Maria said ' Why didn't you pick up my calls I was so worried thinking you might be injured'

Arthur looked at her hearing her worried voice he felt sweet in his heart and said " Nothing will happen to me Maria don't worry'

Maria was still hugging him and he asked ' Have you had your dinner?' Maria shook her head.

Arthur made her look up and tapped on her forehead lovingly and said " Why didn't you have it? It's so late'

Maria touched her forehead and said in a complaining tone ' I was waiting for you'

Arthur looked at her with eyes full of love.

Maria said ' What are you standing there for, go change and come I'm hungry'

Arthur chuckled and went forward pinching her nose and kissing her cheek and said ' Okay be there in 5 mins'

Maria elbowed him in his stomach saying ' She is here, how can you' Arthur ignored her and went in…

Maria was blushing seeing the lady and the lady said ' You sit down ma'am I will serve the food'

Maria nodded and turned and hurriedly left touching her hot cheeks.

The lady was serving the table and Maria came after calming her blush and helped her serve though the lady objected but she helped him and she was helping her and Arthur came down, seeing her work he smiled.

Both Maria and Arthur sat and the lady left to give them privacy.

They were having their food and Arthur asked what she had done today, Maria was happily saying how she looked around the Palace and her talks with the lady, she even complained about how he ignored her and Arthur apologized to her and promised it won't happen again and after saying everything she said about the weird call of Aaron…

Hearing Aaron's name Arthur was angry and he asked ' He called you?'

Maria nodded and said ' yes, I was worried about you and when the phone rang I thought it must be you who else will it be and without seeing the screen I picked up to hear his voice'

Arthur looked at her and asked in a high pitched tone ' What did he say?'

Maria was confused but seeing him angry she said " He just asked if I'm okay, Even I felt weird"

Arthur said ' In future don't pick up his call and you ain't allowed to speak to him nor meet even by mistake'

Maria was confused hearing it and asked ' What? Why?"

Arthur frowned and asked ' Why? Do you wanna talk to him and meet him?'

Seeing him get angry, she placed her hand on his slowly rubbing it and said ' No I didn't mean that I was just asking'

Arthur said ' I said na no means no'

Maria was a bit angry now, she is talking to him so politely and this man is being rude for no reason.

Maria said ' I just asked why are you being so rude? Can't I ask you and It's not like I talk to him every day but if we meet coincidentally how can I walk off?'

Arthur said ' You can ' and stood up and headed towards his room.

Maria followed him upstairs and entered the room she closed the door and said ' I can but I won't if you don't tell me the reason'

Arthur turned towards her and shouted ' He is the one who attacked you and tried to kill you, isn't it enough to stay away from him?'

Hearing it Maria was shocked, It was Aaron? How can it be?

She looked at Arthur in shock….
