Capítulo 120: Faceoff!!

Arthur was in his car seeing Aaron wave at him and leave, Arthur fumed and said Let's go to his driver and the car left with his glass rolling up not showing his expression on his face…

Maria took the cab and was thinking about how Aaron said he was behind Rachel's accident. She didn't feel anything earlier as she deserved it but thinking indirectly she is responsible for it she felt bad and she felt uneasy.

She looked at her black phone and the screen lit and she saw ' MY MAN' written on the speed dial and stared at it and her finger many times went near the dial button but didn't press then she finally closed her eyes and pressed it and the ring was going…

Arthur was in his car looking out at the trees and buildings, he rolled down the window the wind ruffling his hair he was in deep thoughts and he felt his mobile vibrate he turned it to see It was a call from Maria, he looked at it, then turned to look outside feeling the mobile still vibrate he finally connected the call and placed it over his ear…

Arthur said ' Hello' in his groggy voice.

Maria heard it and feeling his voice she thought he must be too tired, one hand holding the phone other clutching her dress she said ' It was Aaron '

Arthur who was still looking outside suddenly smiled thinking she didn't hide her meeting and said ' What?'

Maria said ' It is Aaron who is responsible for Rachel's accident'

Arthur frowned and asked ' How do you know'

Hearing it Maria looked down and after a pause, she said ' we bumped when I was going back home and he said it to me'

Arthur said ' Are you alright?'

Maria hummed...

Silence fell, Maria looking down at her dress not knowing what to say and Arthur looking out didn't know how to say.

Arthur then said ' Take care let's meet tomorrow '

And the call got disconnected, both looking at the names on the screen and sighed.

Arthur was in a better mood now, a small smile formed on his face…

The rest of the day passed….

Morning,

Maria got up and went for the shower, she came out and looked at herself in the mirror, her eyes had dark circles due to lack of sleep and she looked dull. She applied some makeup to hide them and tried to smile a little and went out….

Maria reached the office and Went to meet Emily as for a few days she neglected the work and She greeted her with a smile and Emily gave her some drawings to draw and a few to analyze them…

Maria returned to her seat and was engrossed in it and Mishka entered her cabin to call her for lunch but saw Maria was engrossed in work her brows furrowed papers lying all over the ground, Mishka shook her head and asked her to go for lunch Maria turned to see Mishka standing at the door and she said she doesn't have an appetite, Mishka sighed hearing it and she went and brought both of them a sandwich…

They had a chat and then again after Mishka left, Maria again started working…

It was past time to leave and Mishka stopped for Maria until she finished the work and when they came out of the office it was already dark and Mishka said ' Let's have dinner together '

Maria thought wasn't interested, but thinking it would be rude as Mishka waited for her she nodded and They went to a restaurant, which was open and as it wasn't dinner time yet almost no one was there they sat at a table and were deciding what to eat they heard a voice …

' Well look who's here ' Maria and Mishka turned to see Aaron in a black shirt and pants smiling toward them…

The food was served to them and Maria and Mishka ignored him and started eating.

Aaron came towards them and asked ' How are you, Maria?'

Another cold voice rang out ' If you wish to be okay stay away from her'

Maria didn't have to turn to know who's the voice was.

Aaron turned and looked at Arthur who was walking towards him and smiled and said ' Look here come your boss'

Arthur came towards Aaron both looking at each other, Maria and Mishka were nervous seeing both so close…

Arthur ignored him and looked at Maria and said ' Let's go, come with me Maria'

Before Maria could say something Aaron said ' Why will she go with you, she is having her food and she will have it no one can take her from here'.

Arthur said ' Come with me, Maria'

Maria ignored both of them and was silently eating.

Aaron said ' If you ask her to leave I will make the security kick you out'

Arthur looked at Aaron and said ' Do you own this place to say it, shut your mouth'

Aaron sneered ' Yes, I own this place so I can say it to you and you are not welcomed here now get the hell out of here and don't disturb my guests'

Arthur said ' I know the owner here it's not yours'

Aaron said ' I just bought it seeing Maria eat here and you still here get out you are not welcomed here'

Arthur fumed and said ' I will pay you 10 times sell it to me'

Aaron smiled and said ' Even if you give me 100 times the amount I won't, now get out'

Arthur looked at Maria and asked ' Are you leaving or not'

Maria said 'I am eating ' in a plain tone…

Arthur growled ' I will destroy this damn place' and left…

Mishka on the opposite seat was almost shaking in fear hearing them and she saw Maria all calm eating she thought ' This girl is too strong'

Aaron now looked at Mishka and said ' Do you want me to kick you out or will you leave?'

Mishka was shocked. What is her reason?

Maria looked at Aaron and said ' She won't leave, you can leave though'

Aaron placed his hand on his chest acting and said ' Ouch it hurts'

And suddenly there was a loud noise and they turned to see a few heavy guards enter and started smashing the place and Aaron cursed and shouted ' Arthur how dare you, I will kill you' saying he went out...

Maria received a text ' Come out 3rd car, that place won't be suitable to eat anymore'

Maria shook her head and she held Mishka's hand and exited through the back door and they left taking a cab…

Arthur was waiting outside for her and his people were smashing the place down…
