A brief delusion of grandeur—achieving what no one before me has ever done—gripped me tight. It might have choked me into submission, driving me to willingly do what Fenrisúlfr wanted, if I didn't suddenly feel a cool minty touch spread through my hand to stretch across my arm and send invigorating vibes throughout my body—and with that refreshing feeling came clarity. 

I glanced sideways at Liara, a grin flashing on my face. "Neat trick." 

"You looked like you might need a 'Cool Head' for a change," she replied, smiling back.
