[Donald's POV]

"So, you want everything back under your control again, am I right?"

I asked Angel directly, looking into her eyes. If it were in the past, I might have left her some dignity, but seeing her stubborn and unrepentant manner, I abandoned that thought.

The depth of Angel's resentment toward Margaret was too great. I couldn't let her continue this way; I had to find a way to control her.

"I don't want to hear your nonsense anymore, but if you surrender willingly, I might consider leniency in your trial as long as you cooperate fully with us in all actions against MASTER."

I thought my last two sentences might have stirred something in Angel's heart. Her expression changed briefly, then she replied with forced toughness, "Donald, do you think I'm still the girl who would trust you wholeheartedly? You're wrong!"
