She believed that Raymond was hurting her so as to influence the look on her face. Hera knew that a good liar had to believe their lies so as to sell the lie effectively and successfully.

She rose from where she was sitting and began to pace from one end to the other while her hands were propped on her waist.

"They are feeding you the wrong information and trying to turn your face against those who are loyal to you…those who are really for you," Hera continued breathlessly.
