Capítulo 3: The Hunt
g the reality that he's now married to Ygritte at young age, Bjorn told her to hunt some hare and find some fruits. Ygritte was happy to hunt as he gave her bow back.
"Even if she runs away, I have no problem with that." Bjorn muttered to himself as he watched as she went out for hunt.
Getting back into the cave, he dug out his short swords that he buried. Taking eight short swords he started to seperate the handles and blade. When he separated every handle and blades, he took the blades in his hands and said "Fusion."
The blades started to liquefy and started to merge into one large liquid sphere. Thinking about a xiphos, which he used as his secondary weapon in his second life as Achilles, he started to mold the liquid sphere "Craft."
Slowly, the shape of xiphos started to form, and within seconds a long blade in the shape of leaf was formed.
Putting it aside, he took the handles and repeated the process and designed the pommel to have the shape of the Wolverines head.
Attaching the new handle to the long blade, and fusing them together, he made xiphos long sword with the pummel head of a wolverine.
*Swish* *Swish*
The sword started to produce the sound of cutting the air as he swung it around. Content with the sword, he took the skin of the deer and made a sheath for his sword. Sheathing his sword in his new sheath, he held it with his both hands and said "You shall be known as Achilles from now on, to honor my second life."
When he named the sword, inside the sheath the sword started to glow and rune inscriptions started to form at the middle of the sword, which translated to 'Achilles'.
After he finished with the naming of his sword, he attached it to his belt and hung it on his waist.
Next, he took off his fur coat and taking one of the remaining short sword he placed it on his right hand with the handle directed to his palm. Placing his left hand over his short sword he muttered out "If this works then it will make me even more broken."
"Fuse." There was a vibrant blue light and the short sword has disappeared from his hand and a black tattoo of the sword appeared on his hand.
With a wide smile on his face he said "Fission."
Then a short sword appeared from the tattoo. Holding the short sword in his hand, he jumped up shouting "Yahoooo! IT WORKED!"
The celebration of his lasted for some time, when his excitement wore off, he made the two short swords into a tattoo on both of his hands. Taking off his fur pants, he made his xiphos long sword into a tattoo on his right leg for easy access by his right hand.
Without further ado, he started experimenting with other things. He tried to make the antlers into a tattoo which didn't work, he tried make the remaining deer skin into a tattoo which didn't work either. After doing many more things, he tried to make the grilled meat into a tattoo which also didn't work.
"So, as long as it is something made by my Fusion & Fission Craft I can make them a tattoo on my body. Then if I make food using Fusion & Fission Craft, I can store food on me for emergency situations." Saying that to himself, he went out of the cave. He didn't see Ygritte anywhere "So she ran away, huh? Good for her I think. Now I need to hunt for food. Sigh.... " Sighing to himself, he took his remaining two short swords and went in the way that Ygritte went to hunt.
As he reached the place where the hares are seen the most, he saw a dead hare and Ygritte's bow along with her arrows on the ground.
Squinting his eyes and smelling the air, Bjorn said "Whoever attacked Ygritte didn't kill her on the spot, which makes the chance of the Nights Watch attacking her low. There are red hair trail in the eastern direction, then the ones who attacked are most probably some cannibals. But seriously, using her hair as a clue? What is she? Kushina?"
Taking a deep breath in, he muttered to himself "Even though it was an accident, she's still my wife. I'm not letting anybody harm her in any way."
Like a predator on a hunt, Bjorn started to sprint in the direction of the red hair trail that he found.
Within minutes, he caught the sight of the kidnappers and Ygritte. "If she's going to act like Kushina then I'll have to be her Minato right?" Whispering to himself, he started to run in a curved path to intercept them on their path.
When he observed the kidnappers, he murmured "As I guessed. It's the Thenns! There are four of them, no wonder why she lost."
Taking out his short swords, he claimed a giant tree and waited for them to pass under him. When they reached under the tree, he calculated the timing and jumped down from the tree top to the backside of the two Thenns who were lagging behind and stabbed them on the head with the help of gravity.
*splurt**splurt*
Hearing the grotesque sounds, the ones in front of Ygritte turned back, but before they could spot him, he retrieved the swords and threw them at pinpoint accuracy at the heads of the Thenns.
When the Thenns in front of her fell down with two familiar looking short swords, Ygritte stopped and said "What took you so long Bjorn?"
Untying her bounded hands, he said "Well I had my priorities."
"Hehe. More important than your wife, husband?" Ygritte asked as she smiled.
Returning her a sweet smile he said "Not anymore, my dear wife." And to her surprise, he kissed her on her forehead with affection and said "Even though it was an accident, I'm not going to spit on our customs."
"Then what should we doing about these guys?" Ygritte asked as she pointed at the dead bodies of the Thenns.
"Strip them naked, chop of their head and burn them." Bjorn told her and started to loot the Thenns.
From the four Thenns, he got four bronze helmets and four bronze armors. He also got four fur clothes and bronze weapons. While looting, a thought passed through his head 'I should take a hold of the land occupied by the Thenns to settle down. I can extend the river to the valley so there won't be any problem with access of sea.'
