The sky was a canvas of crimson red, painted by the light of the setting sun. The once lush forest was now a wasteland of broken trees and charred earth. The air was thick with the acrid scent of smoke, and the only sound was the occasional crackling of still-burning embers. In the center of this desolate scene stood a figure that would have struck fear into the hearts of mere mortals. He was a humanoid demon, with skin as grey as clouds that rummaged the sky and eyes that glowed like embers. His features were chiseled and handsome, with a jawline sharp enough to cut stone, lips that curved in a cruel sneer, and hair as white milk while two massive horns protruded out of his cranium.

This was Zhongli after his human bloodline had been corrupted by the Strigoi.

Zhongli stood motionless as if in a daze, taking in the destruction around him.
