Capítulo 75: Time Working

I went back to work after having lunch and this time I actually was given something to do.

The workshop had just been given an order for several swords to be made, each with different properties, regardless of their grade and quality. I was given the task of making some with my unique flames to give them a special touch to them.

Needless to say I was busy the rest of the day, and I only managed to knock up three swords. I could have made more but then I would have to stay and work overtime, which I didn't want to do, so I just chilled and conversed with the others for half an hour before we all left, nobody stayed to do more.

Besides, we had a week to complete the order so we weren't in any particular rush.

I went back home and had dinner with Cythistia and her direct family. They celebrated my promotion when they heard about it and held a little party for me with some cake.

Everyone had a good time and enjoyed themselves, eventually getting a bit drunk and started flirting with their significant other, which meant that Kyristhus got left out.

Everyone ignored him and went to their respective bedrooms and had sloppy drunk sex the rest of the night.

I woke up the next morning with a slight hangover. Which was cleared away when Ayuri sucked me off. I obtained post nut clarity when I came.

'Huh, I didn't think it worked like that.'

Post orgasm thoughts aside, I got ready for the day, gave Cythistia a goodbye kiss and went to work.

A few weeks went by and the order for various swords was completed. There wasn't an actual quota to fulfil, just make as many different swords as possible. In total, the workshop as a whole made one hundred and three swords with varying degrees of powers and abilities.

Everyone got a bonus pay because the customer paid a lot for them all.

Shortly after that, we got an order for ten thousand arrow tips, which, funny enough, came from the Velphine's, they wanted at least two hundred tips to be the same. This was going to be an arduous task but they gave us a month and a half to complete it which was nice.

It was almost half way through to the deadline given to us and I'd managed to mass produce around five hundred poison arrows using my [Poisonous Flames] and Zenite as I'd found it to be great at absorbing any additional properties of fire beside heat and flames.

Oh yeah, Harmur had to take some time off because he cut himself with the dagger blade I made using the same method.

As for the dagger itself, I didn't have time to show it off to Cythistia's family as I got caught up in the celebration they threw.

When I showed Harmur the dagger the next day, he was astonished by my craftsmanship. He said that I might advance through this profession faster than any other person he'd ever seen.

As for Cythistia's family they said that it was a very potent killing weapon, and that I shouldn't make more of them for the sole reason being that the poison that is infused with the blade itself could be disastrous if left unchecked. So I listened to them and decided not to make poisonous weapons from anyone unless they were a reliable source, which the Velphine's were.

They needed the thousands of arrows as they were preparing for a possible war, which made me think back to my travels getting here. I became a little melancholic when I thought that I was the reason that these people, no, this nation would be going to war again.

When they inquired about my mood at dinner, I explained my worries to them and they assured me that this would've happened even if I didn't kill that man as tensions between the two nations were rising. My actions were only a catalyst to set everything off.

I managed to play it off by pretending to accept their words of comfort but deep down I still felt guilty about it. Which is why I was putting my all into these arrows, sort of like my apology for messing things up with the humans.

Thinking back on all of this, I wanted to make sure that they would have everything they would have needed, so I kept on making poisonous arrow tips.

Unfortunately for me, we ran out of Zenite, leaving me having crafted around seven hundred and fourty two tips. I then used the next best material which had similar properties to Zenite but couldn't absorb the essence of the flames, Corite. It too was a very sharp metal and we had an abundance of it so I got to work making as many of them as possible.

When the deadline came, we actually gave them eleven thousand arrows as we produced a few to many, which they accepted. We got paid and we all went back to creating our won things that would then be sold in the market district. We also ordered a shipment of Zenite.

A week afterwards we got another order for shields, and since I wasn't well versed in that kind of thing, I got to continue making what I wanted, so I made more daggers.

Also, over this period of time I get a new skill and levelled up all my other class skills by one.

[Ding!]

[You have learned the [Split Focus] Skill.]

[You have levelled up the skills; [Hammering Technique: LvL. 2] [Smithing Eyes: LvL. 2] [Smithing Instinct: LvL. 2], [Focused Mind: LvL. 1] and [Smithing Arts: LvL. 1] by one level.]

This was a good thing as it meant that I would be able to get better at a much faster rate, meaning the things that I make would get better in quality as well, meaning they would make more money, and having money is always good. It also means that I don't have to rely on the Velphine's for any monetary problems.

And since I was now earning more, Cythistia decided to gift me another thing, a gold bag, which is really just a spatial storage meant for money as it can only really hold small metal coins. And you can't make counterfeit coins either, as each coin is laced with a special magical imprint that allows one to detect if it is real or not.

Several more months pass by and Cythistia is showing signs of life growing within her, which meant no more sex with her, besides oral. Which meant that my maid got the brunt of both my, and Cythistia's sexual frustrations, not that she seemed to mind.

Another thing that happened during this time was that I aged from one hundred and seventy-eight to one hundred and seventy-nine years old, I didn't tell anyone because it wasn't worth telling.

During this time I hadn't been idle. I'd been working and amassing up to around a thousand gold, which might not seem like much to Cythistia or her family but I wanted to take my love on a date, since we hadn't really done anything properly romantic since we got together. Sex doesn't count.

And so today I would take her on a date. We'd bot scheduled to have the next five days off of work, or I did at least, since Cythistia's job doesn't require her to be working twenty-four seven, she just does it because she has nothing better to do, she enjoys doing it at least.

PENSAMENTOS DOS CRIADORES
Wyvers Wyvers

Wrote like half the chapter when I went out for a walk today, then the rest at night...

Gonna take another stroll tommorow and see where it gets me in terms of writing, provided it's not raining as I heard it's supposed to be.

Anyways leave a comment if you have anything to say or want to see happen in the novel in future.

That's all, Bye Bye for now!
