Capítulo 21: Play
"Amalia please remember to buy Joy's toothpaste when you go out tomorrow" said Alfred as he brought out a new tube of toothpaste from the supply cupboard.
"Alright Alfred" said the black haired maid named Amalia, she had short hair and brown eyes.
"On second thought, I will just write you a list of things we need in the house so you do not forget" said Alfred as he seemed to reconsider his first thought.
"Okay then Alfred, I do agree, that would be better" said Amalia.
"Mason have you done what I asked you to do?" asked Alfred as he saw one of the stewards walk into the room.
"Ahhh well yes Alfred" replied the steward as he was the same one from yesterday that Alfred was talking to.
"I have ordered the new items from the company" he said.
"They should be delivered today, maybe by afternoon" said Mason.
"And then the office can officially be changed tomorrow" he said.
"Alright then" said Alfred.
"Make sure to inform me when the items arrive" said Alfred.
"Okay Alfred" said Mason.
"Anyway, I will see the two of you later" said Alfred as he walked away with the toothpaste in his hand.
"See you Alfred" said Amalia and Mason at the same time.
"So what are you doing later?" asked Mason as he turned to look at Amalia.
"What else would I be doing except for my duties?" asked Amalia as she ignored Mason's question and she moved to keep the brooms in a small closet nearby.
"Oh come on don't say that" said Mason.
"Lexi told me that you are basically free for the whole day" said Mason.
"Ugh that Lexi does not know how to shut her mouth" said Amalia to herself as she sighed.
"So what do you say? why don't we go somewhere?" asked Mason.
"Well what Lexi told you was a lie, I am still very busy today" said Amalia, she did not technically lie, because right at this moment, after she was done getting rid of this pesky man, she would go ask Alfred to give her some more duties.
She would do anything to get rid of having to do anything with this guy, he was just way too pushy, her no meant no and nothing else, and yet he did not seem to take the reality and just leave her alone.
"Oh come on you do not have any more work today, I am sure of it" said Mason.
"And so?? what is it to you Mason?" said Amalia as she was truly annoyed now.
"Whether of not if I am working does not concern you at all" said Amalia.
"And besides, it is not by force to go out with you, I can choose to do whatever I want to do, and go wherever I want to go" said Amalia with a firm tone.
"You and I are nothing, and I would love to leave it like that" said Amalia.
"I never asked for your attention, and I have told you from the start of all your pestering that I do not like you" said Amalia.
"I do not like you at all, please understand that" said Amalia as she tried her best not to raise her voice, sometimes you just had to spell things out in BOLD for some people or else they would not just get it.
"Look, I do not know what sort of deal you and Lexi have" said Amalia
"But I will talk to her too" she said, so much for her thinking that she had a good friend, or even a friend at all, it was clear that Lexi cared for no one except for herself.
"I am not going to let the two of you play tricks on me" said Amalia as she was truly fed up.
"No mean NO" she said.
"No does not mean try again, or try harder, or keep on pestering me, it simply means NO" she said.
"So I am warning you Mason, if you try anything, anything at all, or if you keep on bothering me, I will go straight to Alfred and report you to him for harassment" said Amalia.
"Hey hey, slow down Amalia, that is a hefty accusation" said Mason, he was starting to get nervous he did not want to loose his job, just because of some silly accusation.
"You would not do that, you are too nice for that" he said as he smiled sheepishly.
"Try me" said Amalia as she looked at him seriously with a dead gaze, if that did not tell Mason that she was one hundred percent serious, and not joking, she was not sure that anything else would.
"Okay okay" said Mason as he back away, he had never seen Amalia so serious before.
"I am sorry, I will leave you be" he said
"Thank you" said Amalia.
"Now get out, I have to work" she said as she turned around and she picked up a nearby cloth as she used it to wipe dirt off the tables.
"Alright then, I will leave" said Mason as he sighed, he really made her angry this time, so he figured that it was best if he just left her to be alone.
"I am sorry if it seemed like I was bothering you" he managed to say before he received no reply from her, so he walked out of the room.
Amalia sighed, she was relieved that he finally stopped thinking so high of himself and that he actually listened to her for once.
But seeing as how she was not a liar, she now had to go find Alfred to ask him to give her extra duties to do.

"Here you go Madam" said Alfred as he gave the toothpaste to Natasha who was waiting for him.
"Thank you Alfred" said Natasha.
"You are welcome Madam, I am sorry that I took so long, it was quite a task to find the toothpaste, seeing as this is the last one that we have in stock" said Alfred.
"Ahh I see" said Natasha.
"Then the house needs to be stocked" said Natasha.
"I am already on it Madam, I asked one of the maids to go shopping tomorrow" said Alfred.
"Of course you are Alfred" said Natasha as she laughed.
"I trust you" she said.
"I take that as a compliment Madam" said Alfred.
"Oh it is" said Natasha as she smiled and Alfred laughed.
"Well let me not keep Joy waiting" said Natasha.
"I will see you later Alfred" said Natasha as she began walking up the stairs.
"See you" said Alfred as he smiled, was it just him of had the Madam been more lively for the past few days?
...
"Mommy I am done eating" said Joy.
"Okay my baby" said Natasha as she looked at Joy.
"Umm Mommy, can I go outside to play?" asked Joy as she held her breath, she was sure that her mother would not let her go.
Whenever she asked her mother if she could go outside in the past, the answer would always be no.
"Sure my baby, you can go, just make sure not to get dirty" replied Natasha as she drank her tea.
"Really mommy??" asked Joy with wide eyes.
"Haha of course my baby, you can go, just be careful, and let Alfred go with you" said Natasha.
"Thank you mommy!!!" said Joy as she was excited and she hugged her mother happily.
"You are welcome my dear" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Alfred, Alfred" said Joy as coincidentally Alfred walked into the dining room.
"What is it Joy?" asked Alfred as he looked at Joy, he wondered what made her so excited.
"Mommy said that you can go outside with me so I can go play" said Joy.
"Oh is that so?" asked Alfred as he looked at Natasha and Joy nodded her head.
"It's alright Alfred, you can go with her" said Natasha as she smiled.
"Well okay then Madam" said Alfred.
"Come on Alfred, let's go, let's go" said Joy.
"Alright slow down Joy" said Alfred as he followed behind her and laughed, and it made Natasha smile.

Natasha was just sitting down quietly in one of the rooms, she was looking out the window to the ground below, until she heard a knock on the door.
"Come in" she said as she could not see who came in, since her chair she was sitting on was turned to the window.
"Your tea" said a maid as she not so gently set the cup of tea on the table beside Natasha.
The maid was getting ready to leave until she was stopped right in her tracks.
"Excuse me" called Natasha.
