Capítulo 36: What happened to Heli?
Stefan smiled, seeing the warm scene. Then he remembered the reason for coming to the town.
"Um..., I am sorry for not keeping the appointment yesterday," Stefan said embarrassingly while scratching his head.
There was an awkward silence in the air.
Just when Stefan thought, they were angry with him, and was racking his brains to think up a countermeasure.

William replied before Ethan could speak anything, "It doesn't matter. Even we did not come here yesterday"

''But why did you call him a notorious guy? Does he often bully people?'', Stefan asked curiously.
Ethan slapped the table in front of him loudly and told him, ''His name is Rodrick. He is known for having a powerful backer. Do you know who his backer is?'', he then said mysteriously.
''No... I don't know.'', Stefan leaned close to Ethan, his curiosity getting piqued.
''Actually, the reason he is so notorious is that his backer has a special background. He is not only a magician of a higher level, but also because his backer has a powerful adoptive father''.
''Just who is this person that can commit evil indirectly?'', Stefan asked wonderingly.
''The name of that person is Jason. He is a high-level member of the organization. Although he stays in the organization most of the time, he still holds power equal to other high-level members?'', Ethan answered.
Without waiting for Ethan to continue, William explained the rest, ''He is not a simple person. There are rumors in the organization that he is experimenting with humans. Not only that, but it has been confirmed that the disappearance of herbs these years, has a lot to do with him. Or, rather, to his people.''
'So the reason I was targeted must have a lot to do with the properties of this herb', Stefan analyzed clearly.
Stefan thought, 'Seeing how they are so familiar with the organization, they must not be any ordinary members. And there is a high chance that they know about 'Gringera' more than it is seen on the surface.'
'Heli, should I ask them about the herb? Or should I keep my guard up and avoid the topics related to it?', at the end, Stefan decided to ask his almighty system.
'Of course, you should ask them', Heli replied almost immediately.
Feeling that Stefan might have some doubts, he explained in detail, 'Host, as we both know that the herb has already been exposed. If we act like we don't want to mention the herb, it would make you look cheap and someone not worth it as far as long-term friendship is concerned.'
After a pause, it continued, 'Besides, seeing how they saved you immediately seeing you in distress, you should ask them straightforwardly about the information related to this herb. Otherwise, it may make you look like an ungrateful person.'
Stefan felt dizzy from the long amount of information.
He rubbed his forehead with his fingers in order to calm down and spoke after drinking a glass of water from the cup, ''That... If you guys don't mind, can you tell me why was I targeted? I mean, just what is this herb? Is it so rare that people are now resorting to murder to obtain it?''
After hesitating whether to answer the question or not, before Ethan could come to a decision, a loud voice interrupted their conversation.
''You boy!''
Stefan was startled by a strong pat on his shoulders, he turned around and rubbed his shoulders without a trace.
'Damn.. Why is everyone more powerful than me?', Stefan thought.
'Because you have, only just started your cultivation. Regardless of their talent, the only advantage they have over you is time. And it is what you lack the most now.', Heli answered immediately with some nervousness.
'Yeah, I know that, what I lack is the time. But everything aside, why are you so nervous? More than me? Heli, tell me, what exactly is going on here?', Stefan immediately noticed that Heli's tone sounded wrong.
Heli chose to shut up and not pay attention to whatever Stefan was asking about. It immediately realized that it had a slip of the tongue.
Heli sweated with nervousness, remembering the order he received from the Lord God. If it was possible, he really did not want, Stefan to suffer any injustice.
After all, he was the only person who gave him a beautiful name and never scorned his existence. He had heard about how other hosts had looked down on their systems and only used them as a golden finger.
The systems were not given any right to select their host or select the task their host could perform. Everything was ordered by the sub-systems of the Lord God.
They were systems of higher level. New systems like Heli could not compare to them yet.
One day, we both will shine and outperform these narrow-minded systems.
Heli really thought that all the sub-systems were cold-hearted. From the time he came into existence, he has never met a system with human emotions other than 'Piney'.
'I miss her so much', Heli thought with some nostalgia.
