Just as I planned, that gang of people was easily subdued by me. Now all I needed was to maintain my authority and let them do all the dirty work for me.
Heh... they don't even have any idea about my powers.
However, as I was trying to control them, they committed suicide one after another, leaving no loopholes for me to catch on.
Since I have reached Level 6, it is impossible to get promoted shortly after. All I have to do is wait for an opportunity and make preparations for my next promotion.

The next morning, when I woke up, I took out the book and read the combination of two different physiques intently. After reading halfway through, I had an idea. Since Stefan and Lucas are my prey, I need to do something to make them willingly fall into my trap.
So, I decided to use magic to lure Stefan's family members into this. I investigated the area where Stefan's father used to work and found out that he was a lazy bug.
This gave me enough confidence to proceed. After all, someone who is lazy must be greedy too. Following the investigation results, I came to know about his actions of demanding money from Stefan to support his mistress.
Yes, Stefan's father had a mistress. Not only that, even Stefan's mother was no ordinary woman. She had an affair with two people.
Heh.. This couple suited each other. Both of them were having an affair behind each other's back. I thought so, at that time, because I had no idea that they were already divorced as early as three years ago.
The astonishing element in this situation is that Stefan had no idea that each of them had their own family behind his back.
After getting this information, I decided to blackmail him. One day, when he was passing by an alley, I kidnapped him and blackmailed him that I would tell Stefan about their divorce, and then he wouldn't be able to extort Stefan's hard-earned money.
He immediately tried to attack me, but I dodged his punch lightly and attacked him using a magic spell.
Stefan's father only felt a blur in front of his eyes and when he came to his senses, he was already flat on the ground. His right elbow was badly bruised.
I did not try to beat him anymore, because I controlled him with the binding spell. Even though he couldn't see anything, the man might know that he cannot move. After all, no matter how much he struggled, he couldn't break free unless I dispel the spell's effect from him.
This time, I came straight to the point and asked him if he was willing to sacrifice Stefan to become rich. He did not hesitate even for a minute and agreed. I was surprised and in the spur of a moment, I decided to hypnotize him and ask him how he thought about Stefan.
''That bas**** should be grateful to me for his upbringing. He should give all his money to me, his father. After all, it was me who brought him up to this stage", he said.
''Have you never thought about him as your son?'', I asked teasingly. 'That will be much easier', I thought.
His eyes were blank, but there was a strong disdain in them, as if he never considered Stefan as his own son. Soon I came to know the reason from his answer, ''Why should I see him as my son? He is not my son, he is just a wild child we picked up when we went to a village on a vacation!''
My eyes must be showing shock in them. After everything I imagined, I never guessed in this direction at all. I only thought that maybe Stefan came by mistake in their life, that is my they never liked him.
Unexpectedly, there is really something that I can not guess in this world. 'Interesting... It is more intriguing than I thought.
After I hypnotized him, I sent him back. From that day onwards, he came on his own initiative to give me information about Stefan's ongoing life.
It went on like this for about two months. But, one day, when he came to meet me, he told me that he was injured by someone when he went to meet Stefan.
I smelled something wrong. It should not be so, because the spell I left on him, allows him to be less conspicuous when in the group. Although he was not in a group at that time, this did not mean that he could be easily discovered.
So, I picked up an iron pipe from my room, which I often kept to beat my captives, and waited for the elevator door to happen.
There was a fifty percent chance that he would come from an elevator. I told Stefan's father to stay by the side of the stairs with a potted plant in his hand and stun him with it.
Sure enough, he chose to come from the elevator. Should I applaud him for his courage or laugh at his foolishness?
After I successfully stunned him, I watched his body fall with cold eyes and instructed Stefan's father to lock him up in a room.
For the next five days, I did not allow that man to wake up. It was hard for me to believe that my magic had no effect on him. After constant failed efforts of mine, Stefan's father bought a thing called Anesthesia, with which that man did not wake up for five days straight.
I was relieved and at the same time, I decided to finish up Stefan and Lucas. Five days were enough for me to do that. But, I did not expect that I could get neither Stefan's soul nor Lucas's body.
It was all because I underestimated my magic power. I obviously followed all the procedures given in the mysterious book, yet I was not successful in gaining anything.
By chance, I remembered that man whom I had locked up for five days in the inner room. Since my magic power doesn't work on him, there must be something special about him that I don't know, and it may also help me open the space-time portal.
Stefan died without resentment. Lucas and Louis died with resentment, but I still could not get anything from them.
In my heart, I felt extremely unwilling. Why? Why did all my efforts go to waste? Where did I go wrong?
I tried to console myself that maybe that man could help me succeed, so I immediately called Stefan's father, and together we went to the room we had locked that man.
We would have never imagined that this would be our last day. While dying, I regretted it, but there was also some relief. All my life, I had been bullied and committed countless heinous crimes. Perhaps this was my retribution..
I closed my eyes, although unwillingly but with some relief....
