Capítulo 2: Company

I woke up the next morning feeling lazy and already tired. Suddenly I remembered that i had company over for the night, so i tilted to my left to see if Kayla was still lying beside me but she wasn’t there, rather there was a note. The note said, “I really had a great time. Call me”. After reading it, i kept it back from where i had picked it up and just laid there staring at the ceiling. Suddenly, i heard my phone ring from the pants i was putting on yesterday. I got up from the bed and picked up the pants searching for the pocket. I pulled out the phone and stared at the screen. It was Diane, a girl that i have been trying to get my hands on for a while now. She was the secretary at the company that i owned. She had dark eyes and long black hair that matched them. Her lips were as red as roses which I'm sure would taste like strawberries. Her chest and ass told a lot of stories.
I swiped the phone to pick up the call. "Hello",
"Hello sir, morning", she said hurriedly. "Yes?", i responding waiting for her to speak. "Sir the investors would like to meet with you personally, I've set up a meeting f——".
"Cancel it", i said without hesitation, "sir if we d——",
"Diane?, would you like to come keep me company?", i said, interrupting her before she could finish her sentence.
"But sir, i have work to do". She replied
"Who owns the company?", i asked her
"Yo.. you do", she answered reluctantly. The company was one that created video games, many people knew that the owner was Kal Liam but what they didn't know was that i was the CEO. No one knew who i was and had no idea what i looked like. I intended to keep my life private.
"Good so.... I'll pick you up at the book store opposite the office".
"Yes sir", she responded and the call ended.
Diane put all the papers that were piled up on her office desk into the drawers, turned off her laptop and closed it.
"Where is my hand bag?", she said looking around her desk and on other tables.
"Is that what you're looking for?", Von said pointing at her chair. She turned around and saw the bag staring at her. It was hung on the chair that she sat.
"In a rush now are we?", he asked as he typed into his laptop. Von was a middle aged guy in his thirties with strands of grey hair on his head, he had good structure and looked good for his age. His only problem was he kept insisting on going out with Diane no matter how many times he was rejected.
"Something like that i guess". Diane answered as she strolled to the elevator that led to the exit. "Maybe we can get dinner sometime", he said loudly as Diane stepped into the elevator. "Nope!", she said smiling sheepishly as the elevator doors closed.
As she left the building she stood still looking at the bookshop. I honked and waved from the car i was in. In an instant she saw me and crossed to where i was parked. I unlocked the door to the car and waited for her to get in. "Hello sir", she said with an obvious fake smile. "Just say Liam, its better, the formal stuff is weird", i responded turning on the car and drove off. "So where are we going?", Diane asked inquisitively. "I just didn't want to be alone, plus i guess you're the only person I've got close to a friend". She turned to look at me as her eyes widened and she giggled a little. "What?", i asked, "What's funny?", i continued curiously asking.
"Sir, I'm sorry but you do know you can't trick me into spending a night with you right?", Diane spoke with a raised brow.
"Is that a challenge?", i asked smiling but she just remained silent. Ten minutes later we arrived at our destination, "We're here". I turned off the car. "What are we doing here?", She asked as she peeped through the car window.
"Isn't it obvious, we're here to eat", i opened the door to get out and shut it behind me as did Diane.
We went through the door and strolled to the counter to place our order.
"Hi, what would you have?", the waiter said with a bright smile. "I'll have a burger and a milk shake please". I turned to look at Diane signaling her to order too. She looked right back at me then at the waiter. "I'll have a glass of water and uhm... another glass of water later". The waiter looked confused and just nodded. I looked around searching for a free table and spotted one at the right end corner. I grabbed Diane's hand and pulled her towards the empty table. We sat down and suddenly the atmosphere was filled with silence.
Diane kept her line of view at the table avoiding eye contact with me. "Nervous?", i asked her, but she didn't flinch. I took a good look at her grasping the extent of her beauty. The yellow flay dress she wore made her breast pop as she breathed in and out. She glowed as the sun hit the surface of her skin. It felt like i had seen an angel. "What are you thinking about?", She asked. Immediately, i took off my eyes that were glancing at her body. "Nothing", i answered.
"You know you should try to figure out your life yes?", she started, "hooking up with girls, having one night stands, all that doesn't usually end well".
I paused for a minute and smiled. "Okay then", i said as i leaned on the table and moved closer to her. "How about this..... date me... show me how to be in love and if you succeed, i promise to make you a share holder at the company”.
