Up to this point, April had barely accepted the food Jasper brought and only because she needed it to survive. To the best of his knowledge, she stubbornly refused to do anything with the gifts he had given her even to keep herself entertained. So what would keep her up so late?

He had the thought that she might be watching TV. Normal people who didn't work nights had hobbies like that, didn't they?

He had a variety of streaming services but never used them. He didn't have time for things like that. He had gotten them specifically for her once she came here hoping it would give her something to do.

Curious, Jasper pulled them up on the website and saw that a show had been added to the library on Hulu. It had also stopped on the very last episode. Had she stayed up most of the night to finish watching this? Why would she do something like that?
