Capítulo 499: I Could Stay Here All Day

After Mila heated up leftover casserole for both of them and Leo chowed down with wide-eyed wonder, she flopped down on the couch unsure what to do next. She really needed more information about which hospital he had come from but wasn't sure he would even know that. 

There were a lot of hospitals around here. It wasn't as if she could call around asking if any of them had an escaped patient. 

Clearly, he had escaped because there was no way a cat in a human body would be able to do paperwork or pay a co-pay to be discharged properly. She didn't want to get saddled with a medical bill for someone she didn't know either even if he was now her cat. 

It wasn't like she could afford it. She was a voice actress but that wasn't the most consistent work in the world and didn't pay very well. That was why she had her second job as a social media manager for a major appliance company.
